... Or candy! - jesushatesu, on 05/03/2009, -3/+15This article sucks.
- ColinGreig, on 05/03/2009, -1/+12A Photoshop tutorial without screenshots.. wtf?
- sayoshinn, on 05/03/2009, -5/+10silly rabbit, black belts are for karate
- gamepr0, on 05/03/2009, -1/+5I was right, some GIMP fan just has to say that.
- chipxsd, on 05/03/2009, -1/+3Jesus, this article sucks! It just points out the main features of the photoshop...
- megaton, on 05/03/2009, -1/+3More like Photoshop green belt.
Black belt is more like scriptable actions and writing your own plug-ins. - GalacticRerun, on 05/04/2009, -0/+2They're different things. There's no 'instead of' for the majority of designers. We use both, and more. And either is as user friendly as you make it, you just have to learn.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SVp1QpuuRSU - akiller, on 05/03/2009, -2/+3I thought most designers would be using Illustrator over Photoshop?
- inactive, on 05/03/2009, -1/+2If you get really good you can get a job at the daily mail. if you get even better you can work for the government department of lies.
- DrunkRobot, on 05/03/2009, -1/+2Depends on the designer's style. Most I know use PS but a couple I've worked with are true Illustrator masters. PS is much more user friendly.
- urbanetruth, on 05/03/2009, -1/+2Very wordy article without much substance.
The ideal Photoshop article would have the 10 top tools, with a paragraph written for each and a diagram --> like --> this for each command. Photoshop can be very overwhelming for noobs (like me). - Digitalicious, on 05/03/2009, -1/+2Contrary to what this article says, it's just fine to use the marquee tool to draw a box.
- therealspike, on 05/04/2009, -0/+1techradar is for noobs
- chriswinsatlife, on 05/03/2009, -1/+2More likely an Illustrator fan.
- AngelBunny, on 05/03/2009, -1/+2I miss You Suck at Photoshop...
- Zippo, on 05/03/2009, -0/+1Smart objects (and now smart filters) are a godsend. While the filesize will be larger, the benefits of having a completely non-destructive working file are innumerable when working with a large agency.
Now, if only I could get some of the older artists I work with to get into them. - sylv3r, on 05/04/2009, -0/+1TechRadar sucks... bury brigade assemble!
- Lemon, on 05/06/2009, -0/+1I know some pretty crack designers who work almost exclusively in Illustrator. But they do a bunch of post in photoshop too... so.......
- Cycline3, on 05/03/2009, -0/+1This article seems to be written by someone who has more time on their hands than real work. Several of these tips actually slow down the creation process, not speed it up. While being organized is great, you can be so anal retentive that it actually gets in the way. Don't do anything you don't have to... keep it lean and mean if you want to be good and fast. Sometimes that means being organized and sometimes it means just getting it done, even if the file has a couple layer 12s in it.
- irisblaze, on 05/03/2009, -0/+1Black belt? these tips are for noobs, i mean these are the first things that a beginner should learn, and this article was designed horribly.
- nyxerebos, on 05/04/2009, -0/+1Black belt is skill, talent and lots of practice. Tricks are what n00bs need.
- kaosethema, on 05/03/2009, -0/+1photoshop black belt? really?
- eihwaz, on 05/03/2009, -1/+1No.
- nimawin, on 05/04/2009, -1/+1ummmmm.. these aren't tricks... and this was a terrible article.. none of those will anyone a photoshop black belt... this article sucked

- toyrifle1, on 05/03/2009, -0/+0If I have a black belt now, then why are my pants on the floor?
- arthursk, on 05/03/2009, -6/+6they forgot filter> stylize> glowing edges
- diggnidy, on 05/03/2009, -3/+1hadouken!
- DiscoLando, on 05/03/2009, -9/+6Every designer uses Photoshop?
Wrong. - p51d007, on 05/03/2009, -7/+3I've used photoshop since version 4, and although I don't use it every day, still nice to pick up a trick now and then. What's really nice is that I get it paid for at work! :)
