Dunno what's up with all the coke references in nonsensical places. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0My website is leafez.com and it gives me: w3c html php CSS web xhtml ......wtf?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I give it my website and it gives me "cokewww" "cocacola" (which is mentioned nowhere)... I give it "books and novels" and it tells me "microsoft msdn".
- kimastergeorge, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yes, it doesn't work. For http://www.twistedmatrix.com/ it gives "wallpaper". Wallpaper. No. Not wallpaper.
- syuusuke, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0hrm, i type cools and it gives me renewableenergy science energy? i guess.
- synide, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0this blows, i type in a bunch of videogames and it gives "technology free digg blogs"
- kingkool68, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"robots monster movies sci-fi" gives you the tag "Porn" This link sucks!
- ernesthoffmann, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It make a difference when typing http://slashdot.org and http://www.slashdot.org without the "www"
- we.are.devo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i put in "i like the *****" and it said "humor portuguese fun"
- sedgemonkey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I don't understand what you are supposed to do with this.
- UGM2099, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I dugg it because boagworld dugg it
- bash, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0not perfect, but a good start.
- ernesthoffmann, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I mean with the www
- lambright, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0OK, let me be the person to say, I don't get it.
What would you do with tags? We run this restaurant review site, http://sfSurvey.com I typed in the tag machine, "Restaurant Reviews by people like you" and got [restaurant food filmmaking film_distribution film ]
OK, so what would a person do with a tag?
Thanks for any feedback.
Wayne - Tobey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I typed in http://www.uiss.6x.to, and it got "humor".
This is pretty stupid. - juicysauce, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Cool idea. Bad execution. No digg... yet.
- stevec5000, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0What the hell are tags?
- Mysk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Totally off on my blog as well (my tags were: search blogs tag technet microsoft printing design graphics - for himysk.com).
It's a good idea but not a good execution. - shortstick, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Ok. If it produces tags, try putting something besides a tag into it. For example, "videogames" would be more of a tag. Anyway I tried it and it seemed to work. I put in,
He’s a clever little guy that really knows his tags. Tell him what you’re talking about and he’ll tell you what tags you might want to use.
and it returned
tagging social photos del.icio.us tags web2.0
It's ok.
Most people don't need to generate tags programmatically but it could be a good link in a tool chain, where a machine is trying to find similar content via shared tags. - ernesthoffmann, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0puting
- ernesthoffmann, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0oops! That was supposed to be a correction on my post above! I mean Putting with double t. Accidentally clicked it. sorry
- juicysauce, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0*****. I accidentally dugg it. Oh well.
- sky_blue_eyes, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0lol, juicysauce
i like entering my friends names into it. its hilarious. - cyzum, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This thing is stupid. No digg.
- ernesthoffmann, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Tags are useful when bookmarking a site in http://del.icio.us , etc. You can organize bookmarks by puting tags on them so you can easily find them especially when you have hundreds of bookmarks.
- kmedlin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I entered http://www.yahoo.com and got something about foreskin_restoration_help....
Where the heck is it making these tags up? - Odwalla, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Uncanny!
I entered "psuedo tech news with annoying content and sophomoric comments". Tagyu returned "digg".
I entered "two greasy haired washouts filming themselves in a low-rent apartment and always mentioning a non-existant girlfriend. Tagyu suggested "Diggnation".
This thing is amazingly prescient! - fleng, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I typed in my mmporpg clans home page and got:
torrent sites
It doesn't give any good suggestions at all so it don't get a digg. - teknokool, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i think this is a nice little tool to use.
