  • ernesthoffmann, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Tags are useful when bookmarking a site in http://del.icio.us , etc. You can organize bookmarks by puting tags on them so you can easily find them especially when you have hundreds of bookmarks.

    It's ok.

    Most people don't need to generate tags programmatically but it could be a good link in a tool chain, where a machine is trying to find similar content via shared tags.

    I entered "psuedo tech news with annoying content and sophomoric comments". Tagyu returned "digg".

    I entered "two greasy haired washouts filming themselves in a low-rent apartment and always mentioning a non-existant girlfriend. Tagyu suggested "Diggnation".

    This thing is amazingly prescient!
