- numair, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4This is really crazy ... Perhaps this could be incorporated into phpMyAdmin?
- wins, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1cool..for ease of use, should also provide an export option to actually apply the xsl to generate the actual mysql statements?
- Goner, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1ErWin=$3500, this=$FREE$... I'll take THIS any day...
- patosan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Source code and the features list are available here:
http://ondras.praha12.net/sql/ - cankles, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This IS free. You know what though, I think pen and paper is even cheaper. You should use that instead. ErWin offers quite a bit of functionality, but if it's cost effectiveness you're looking for, let's just get some chalk and go find a sidewalk somewhere...
- mercury81, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0man people are doing some amazing things with AJAX.
- alecks, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0where can we get the source for this? or is it not available?
- dance2die, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Holy snit... the imagination is endless....
- jhowe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0alecks, you can download the project by going to http://ondras.praha12.net/sql/
- jvortega, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This just crash my mozilla....
- Bitruder, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0VERY cool!
- velox, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Man, I thought this would be another case of people giving undue praise to something that just happens to use AJAX, but this is actually really awesome! Thanks!
- freelancer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Unreal this is great ... I have to play with this thing database creation just got very easy
- pophysis, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0sweet!
- lafingputz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0this is really cool. A+

Nice Digg - sigUVa, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is unreal. Worked well in Firefox.
- krg123, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0cheese: still - great utility for those who are erwin-less
- eric123abacus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i dont even know what the ***** this thing is and its awesome!
btw didnt crash my firefox :) - ateoto, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Working fine and Im on Firefox. Its all standards stuff so it should work on any browser that uses the following.
XHTML, DOM, CSS, JavaScript - whalesalad, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0numair that would be so cool.
- Cataclysm_J, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0super this makes databasing a joke (just thought i'd echo everyone elses comment, works in firefox, i blame either the state of the computer or the user who can also be blamed for the state of the computer)
- CheeseMan316, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0busto... that's what ErWin is for.
- chadom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Very great !
some point :
- create FK isn't very intuitive
- crash sometimes firefox (not test with IE)
- would love an import UI
And now ? a query wizard ? :-) - dbr_onix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0...{note to self, read better}
1. copy & paste data into a file, save it as .xml
2. open this newly created file in your favorite xslt-compliant browser (IE6 is sufficient)
3. select all data on web page, this is your sql script ready for mysql
- Ben² - dbr_onix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Usefull, but it's kinda useless to me.. XML output.....?
- Ben - danfitch, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0CRASH....Firefox
- wsharp, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It's NOT AJAX guys. AJAX requires the use of XMLHttpRequest to communicate asynchronously with a server. This app, while very good, only uses XHTML,Javascript,DOM. And it exports the schema for you to save.
What would make it AJAX? Perhaps some asychronous calls read a real schema from a database, to update a live schema, and to get a list of databases from a database server... all that other phpMyAdmin stuff. - trev0r, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I could go along with all you people and say this is totally cool, because it is. But, I want to give some criticism.
I see this on all AJAX apps. Everything can be highlighted, like even when you are actually trying to drag stuff. This gets real annoying. Is it possible for developers to disable this side effect to using AJAX, or is it just something we as users have to deal with? - dfekke, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Crash IE...
- scbysnx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0oh and mail.. unfortunately
- scbysnx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0the only thing I understand there is beer_amount
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0How exactly is this useful when a) you cant connect automatically to a database so it loads its contents and b) how the hell do I load/unload anything into it. I want to use a pre-existing database!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0interesting ajax trick, but I still prefer working with mysql via command-line
- Jackolicious, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0ooooOOoooo AJAX is fun to say! Let's say it some more!
downgrade. - CheeseMan316, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I guess I have the benefit of erwin. But if I didn't I would use ISQLW. It allows you to create FK's, pk's, views, procedures, functions, databases, and anything else you would imagine.
- got-haggis, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0how do you make foreign keys? it doesn't make sense to me using the interface.
- section31, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Damn, that is awesome.
- jdgtrplyr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Niiice! I likes, I likes.
- rhyno2000, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0oh the exclamation points! My eyes!!!

++ - vh1`, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0the source does come with a PHP file. I think that may be used to link with existing tables. I'll see what it's all about
- Forse, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Great stuff digg+
- slickdf, on 11/29/2008, -0/+0Thanks for this.
http://www.kezoon.com - dbavaria, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This should be bundled with a form input generator :)
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0wanted to hate on ajax fanboys some more, but that is pretty cool.
- DaFixer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That is so cool. I have got to learn this language!
- whalesalad, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This isnt Ajax but if it was integrated with phpmyadmin it is. Ajax is becoming the new word for stuff like this.
- motionblur, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Okay that was ***** brilliant. Ultra Digg++
phpmyadmin just got pwned. Sort of... - mojaam, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Looks cool. Too bad I don't know any of that XML and SQL stuff.
