By keeping it simple, with no frills, and never updating the style, they've stayed true to that.

Because the search is so retarded I can't just use "midget clowns with leather fetishes -strawberry -shortcake" and end up spending all night emailing midgets asking how serious they are about strawberries. It's ridiculous.

I would also like it if they charged and required me to fill out a 32 page form before contacting or posting on the site... That would be a major improvement than the fast, easily navigated p.o.s site they got now...

New designers have a tendency to completely redesign a site and ignore some of its more endearing features. The approach here is the right approach, CraigsList has useability issues but its style and popularity must be considered in any redesign. I think the author does a good job of maintaining the CraigsList aura while trying to boost usability. - fangor, on 03/12/2009, -0/+2This would be a major improvement: Ban the entire country of Nigeria from accessing the site.
