- Ndiggnation, on 10/12/2007, -2/+40They *do* look pretty distorted, and for that matter, very faded. Why in Digg's name must everyone on Digg cry "Photoshop?!?" for every pic posted? What would someone have to gain from Photoshopping some tattoos from a forgotten custom on an old woman?
I think Godwin's Law should be amended to include crying "Photoshop!!". :) - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+26You know, she doesn't really look all that old all things considered.

I second the motion!
Thanks a lot to Adobe, they have forever destroyed a whole generation's concept of art. You could show a Photoshop kiddie the Mona Lisa and he'd insist it was just a picture with some oil paint filters and 3% Gausian Blur.
We've killed the noble ideas of skill, mastery, a lifetime of study, and raw talent, but 50 million 14-year-olds producing hacked images that look like they took scissors and a bottle of Elmer's glue to the National Enquirer have risen to take their place. - CramerJeremySJ, on 10/12/2007, -1/+18The Chin people, and most of the ethnic groups from that area of Asia, age very gracefully. I was in Nagaland (One of the Indian states bordering Myanmar) for 10 days this summer and was amazed to meet women that appeared not so much older than myself that were actually closer to my mother's age.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12As for the tattoo - if she got it as a young girl, that had to have hurt.
- willhaney, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5tats on they eyelids must be painful.

Deviant art is the MySpace of graphics. I was already going to link to it as exhibit A, if anybody argued. Thanks. - raindog469, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I think I would have put it under General Science, because the appeal of this story is mostly anthropological.
- TopherT, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Well if it wasn't photoshopped it musta hurt like hell, do you see how close the tattoos get to her eyes? Yeeaaaoch!
- NoSuchAgency, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2"you'd think she'd get it touched up every so often, it's faded!"
Well I guess once the neighbouring princes stopped stealing women, there wasn't much point. - virtualball, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Not only a beautiful picture, but it expresses a confidant and defiant woman.
- aashishsahrawat, on 04/15/2008, -0/+0This is awesome.
http://www.atledo.com/tattoo - virtualball, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3I agree fully, Photoshop killed REAL art. I'm not saying Photoshop isn't art, but it just isn't real art. Real art takes years of learning and years of mastering, it involves dedication and percision. Photoshop takes minutes of clicking. And I'm a fan of abstract photoshop as much as the next person, but that is NOT art, that is something a 14-year-old made that looks cool. This generation's perception of art is forever tainted because of technology, and if you don't believe me, look at all of these comments "I'd hit it" and "looks photoshopped" and "I want to play tic-tac-to on her face" I'm sure if it was a good photoshopped abstract people would be saying "Amazing!"
I'm sorry for my generation. - myfanwy, on 10/12/2007, -7/+7err, technology? this is stretching the boudnaries of category to breaking point
- aashishsahrawat, on 04/15/2008, -0/+0This is awesome.
http://www.atledo.com/tattoo - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Well, posting it in design would have gotten 50 Ph*t*sh*p kiddies instead of just one.

Go to http://www.deviantart.com/ and tell me that none of that requires skill. and i am talking about the photoshop stuff. seriously. just because some one doesn't paint with a brush doesn't make it any less beautiful. - grahamreeves, on 10/12/2007, -4/+0you'd think she'd get it touched up every so often, it's faded!
Looks fantastic though. I'm gonna get spongebob in a similar placement, keep the tradition alive! - migs87, on 10/12/2007, -10/+6yeah and the holes in her ears are digitlaly remastered like star wars !

BTW, that doesn't make you cool, it just makes you perv :P - psychoselya, on 10/12/2007, -17/+6Those markings don't work. I'd hit it.
- sp1keNARF, on 10/12/2007, -32/+5@ndiggnation
whatever, nazi... - eleven, on 10/12/2007, -47/+3Is it just me or does that tattoo look photoshopped in? I mean the lines are all perfect - wrinkles or not - don't you think that there wold be a little more distortion after so many years?

What is Digg?
