- paulyj1124, on 10/11/2007, -1/+82I think it works better if you read the billboards from the bottom one to the top
- holygram, on 10/11/2007, -31/+108The image was manipulated using Adobe® Photoshop® software.
- doughboy334, on 10/11/2007, -3/+38the car wars one was much better.

#6,7,8,9 - Bob042, on 10/11/2007, -0/+27By the title, I hoped that the airlines were shooting down the opposing signs with fighters.
- parkermauney, on 10/11/2007, -1/+27Of course it's shopped!
That floating text in the top right is CLEARLY fake. - weeeezzll, on 10/11/2007, -1/+24Am I the only one that thinks the top billboard looks like it was Photoshopped into the picture?
- chelseadean, on 10/11/2007, -7/+29I would have love to seen the faces of Jet Airways advertising staff when the others two put up these billboards.
- holygram, on 10/11/2007, -8/+26Dear Sir or Madam:
You seem to have attempted internet-meme based humor. Unfortunately, the meme you chose to base your joke upon is far past what we refer to as "old meme" status. It is because of this that we are unable to accept you into the digg humorous comments club.
Our apologies,
The Digg community - crazybrit, on 10/11/2007, -0/+12Uhh... you mean _start_ banning?
- jazh, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8Almost all ads in India are in English now...
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -7/+15supersurg posted this further down. mirror: http://savetable.com/sky-wars
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -2/+10Diggs have nothing to do with how many people are clicking on the link. Therefore the amount of diggs something gets has no relevance to whether or not its down.
- luweez90, on 10/11/2007, -2/+9Either a lot of people said a lot of lame things or someones getting very handy with the bury comment button...
- ChayD, on 10/11/2007, -2/+8nice work. Thanx :D
- yoshitomi, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5I think Jet Airways knows it's a great airline, so they'd be amused.
I'm not sure about Kingfisher Air, though. Maybe it's just me, but I don't feel comfortable getting on-board a jet-fueled craft operated by a large Beer corporation. For all I know, the pilot's lounge might just contain beer-filled water coolers. While as awesome as that may be, I'd rather not have my plane acting like a drunk person up in the sky.
But hey, that's just one guy's opinion. - ChuqAU, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5Am I looking at a different picture to you? I don't see any railway or bus billboards.
- beanso, on 10/11/2007, -2/+7http://savetable.com/sky-wars
There's one (1) mirror. - albatross5000, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6Just saying -- The lossiness in the text on ALL of the billboards make them look fake. I'd go as far as to say that the 'author' even did a bad job with their photoshop.
- EricJD, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Next time, check duggmirror to confirm that it does in fact have the page first.
- rstarr, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5Are you telling me what I've seen in my time?
- GawtMilk, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4No. Since when have billboards had blurred edges? Looks like they did a bad cut and then feathered it.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4funny, I didn't know billboards were in English in India
- greendigger, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Good post, I am tied between "Mercedes can also bring.." and "Bentley", but Bentley holds the edge for its simplicity.
- quentinmcalmott, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4a website could go down at less than negative 100 diggs?
- Mishkin, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Agreed. The top 2 also seem to be magically suspended in mid-air.
- arobar, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3It has nothing to do with the software and everything to do with the server it's hosted on. A lot of diggers have the impression that Wordpress is the problem because most of these sites host their own blog on some two-bit server they put together themselves. They can't handle the bandwidth or the DB requests. Put a WP install on anything decent with enough bandwidth, setup proper caching via wp-cache and MySQL caching, staticize your pages, and you're good to go.
- naisanza, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3adobe...
- projectstartrek, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Yeah!!! You can't say the phrase Photoshop except in the following ways:
http://www.adobe.com/misc/trade.html#photoshop - jazh, on 10/11/2007, -3/+6Bently wins!
- jasdf, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4Do you like jail??????????? Adobe will lock you up!
- sitefinder, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4Advertiser do compete among themselves but placement of the ad must be carefully plan else no one will trust your product too. Example: http://iamboredr.com/2007/06/30/this-lady-is-doing-2-ad-which-contracdict-one-another/
- Dvara, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Pretty much all advertising/signs in India tends to be in at least English. Normally a couple of other languages too.
- xTRUMANx, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Now I know when to use the konami code...
- lemcoe9, on 10/11/2007, -2/+5just in case: http://img185.imageshack.us/img185/249/86732347po5.jpg
- CowboyJesus, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2This is just another (although significantly more blatant than most) attempt to get a stupid, uninteresting article dug by paying a service to dig it a few hundred times. It just snowballs after that. Pathetic. Buried as spam.
- mercurysquad, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Well the airline is from the same group of companies that makes the beer..
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vijay_Mallya#Business - blackjack75, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2KingFisher? Really? Who came up with that name?
Considering planes often fly over water I wouldn't use a name that implies it will go fishing anytime soon. - crushfan, on 10/11/2007, -7/+9Ah man, crap.. Stop using Wordpress, for Internet's sake. I know it looks great and has a widespread community that works hard on but, come on, this tool just does not even work properly.. "x diggs and down" (x < +/-100)
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1your photoshop detection skillz are on the fritz. the kingfisher one is real. only the go air one is shooped.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1you do know that there are more people speaking English in India then in England?
- crushfan, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Hahaha.. It should've been a plus-minus sign. But I'm too lazy to run character map, let alone knowing the shortcut..
- Dhruv, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1The top one is fake and photoshopped , pic was published in a leading newspaper and in real only two exist.
- simplejoe79, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1looks cool though..
- danpat, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Buried for photoshopping.
- Mishkin, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Regarding both the airline and the car ads, if it's true that most of them were photoshopped, then WHY!?
If I was a rival competitor, I would love to play the cat and mouse game. There's nothing wrong with it. Plus, you can have some fun while on the job. After all, being clever is what gets you noticed. - ethicalbypass, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3The top 2 (Indian Railways and Bus) are/maybe photoshopped. The bottom 3 (Airlines ads) are not. They were all over Indian newspapers/portals a couple of months back.
Of the three airlines, Jet and Kingfisher are neck to neck when it comes to service, brilliant infact. Go Air is a low cost airline, hence service is non existent, but ofcourse has the cheapest fare of the three. - Azimuth1, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1The "DesignersMind.com" part and the line below it are shopped. Pretty sure the rest is real.
- xParker, on 09/12/2008, -1/+2original link and mirror down..
- ronintetsuro, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Buried as inaccurate for the horrible and obvious photoshop job.
My dead ferret produced better shops than that. -
