- OBKenobi, on 10/10/2007, -8/+133Let me put on my IR goggles...
Or better yet, saturate that area with mortar fire. - AZRoboto, on 10/10/2007, -6/+110I am really beginning to hate digg. Half of the articles I click on are already down and their servers have crashed! Digg is killing the internet.
- Th3_anOmoLy, on 10/10/2007, -4/+97This cammo does look like it would work well in a large range of environments, but two things to consider:
1) This is an advertisement, so of course everything will be optimized for the photos.
2) The real key to cammo and "becoming invisible" is breaking up the outline of the human form. Our bodies, for the most part, don't create lines normally seen in nature, which can cause them to stand out from their surroundings . It's part of the reason ghillie suits are so effective - LowROI, on 10/10/2007, -2/+76I was hoping he'd be in the same tree as the leopard. That would have made my day.
- lechatron, on 10/10/2007, -2/+70Mirror: http://op-for.com/camo.jpg
- RickySan65, on 10/10/2007, -3/+68well hidden in a site thats down.. good camouflage there mate..
- schmidt349, on 10/10/2007, -6/+69(site's down)
Snake? What happened? Snake? SNAAAAAAAAKE! - Kwipper, on 10/10/2007, -1/+55You know, this reminds me of a certain Monty Python Skit.
Narrator: In this picture, there are 47 people. None of them, can be seen. In this film, we hope to show you how not to be seen.
This is Mr. E.R. Bradshaw of Napier Court, Black Lion Road, London, S.E. 14. He cannot be seen.
Now I am going to ask him to stand up. "Mr. Bradshaw. Would you stand up please."
*Mr Bradshaw stands up... then gets shot dead*
This demonstrates the value of not being seen. - dajuggernaut, on 10/10/2007, -3/+57man this camo is bad ass.. it made the server disappear
- capiCrimm, on 10/10/2007, -1/+52thats why they don't allow them in the military.
- MadTom, on 10/10/2007, -3/+38The page can't find it, Must be some pretty damn good Camo.
- yohnstoppable, on 10/10/2007, -3/+37Flaming Snipers aren't allowed in the military. Don't ask, don't tell :D
- re0turin, on 10/10/2007, -1/+29Today we will teach you the value of not being seen...
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -2/+29Never too hard to spot a flaming sniper, I guess.
- fLUx1337, on 10/10/2007, -3/+29Yep, I'm also starting to get sick of digg.....
Everything I click is dead......and the stuff which isnt is the crap stuff!
I love digg, but hate the digg effect!!!
Even the duggmirror doesnt work! - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -5/+31I can see the dude in every picture. I thought he was going to be invisible?
- mablco, on 10/10/2007, -4/+29man that site is slow
- Radan, on 10/10/2007, -4/+26Wow, this camo indeed impressive! All I see is a completely white page, and the sniper is nowhere to be seen.
- tempusrob, on 10/10/2007, -0/+21Right, stupid webmasters whose sites don't get in a decade the traffic Digg gets in a day ought to pay hundreds of dollars a month for a couple dedicated servers just in case Digg strikes.
- Anoobis, on 10/10/2007, -2/+23How you know you are spending too much time on digg - Reason 223:
You get and laugh at every joke referring to another digg submission .
:( - mortigon, on 10/10/2007, -3/+24i see what you did there
- crazyvegas, on 10/10/2007, -1/+21The thumbnails are a little small, but this may get you by. http://images.google.com/images?q=site:multicampattern.com
- tnoy, on 10/10/2007, -1/+21Its never good when ***** clogs up all the tubes.
- MadOgre, on 10/10/2007, -2/+21Anything is better than the US Army's new camo... which magically blends in with absolutely nothing. Late evening that crap almost glows.
But until they make Ghost In The Shell camo... I don't care. - cbdgr, on 10/10/2007, -3/+21cant see him anywhere only see all gray, oh now i have a connection timed out, he must be hiding behind the try again button
- Digisphere, on 10/10/2007, -2/+19He's between the 40 and 4
- gashad, on 10/10/2007, -3/+20Oh yea? Try to spot the shooter in this picture, hot-shot:
http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/5789/shooter20ow.jpg - Takuro, on 10/10/2007, -3/+19I guess the site disappears even faster than the cammo does.
- sabach, on 10/10/2007, -4/+20Yeah I can't see that sniper at all, because I can't even see the ***** picture!
- xenoNfluX, on 10/10/2007, -1/+15I have a set of MultiCam TRUs that I play airsoft in. They're pretty good, but you can find better specialized hunter camo for just about any environment. Military camo is designed to work in as many environments as possible, where hunter camo is designed for each specific environment.
Oh, and the short story behind MultiCam is that it was between ACU and the MultiCam as the final patterns when the Army needed a new camo pattern. MultiCam outperformed ACU, but they decided to go with ACU because it was cheaper. - aliendave, on 10/10/2007, -3/+17Is there a picture where he grabs a statue's junk?
- resplence, on 10/10/2007, -0/+14Hey, bandwidth that is sure to stand digg effect is darned expensive.
- JonTheGoose, on 10/10/2007, -2/+15There he is! On the sixth floor of the book depository!
- dezmo, on 10/10/2007, -3/+16WE KNOW BUT SINCE WE DON'T KNOW THE NUMBER OF CLICKTHROUGHS WE MEASURE TRAFFIC IN DIGGS.
- thwackitechnica, on 10/10/2007, -2/+14This reminds me of the Where's Waldo live action movie.
- Gramage, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11On the contrary, Digg is killing off the weak, low bandwitdth sites. Digg is internet-Darwin in action.
- Scheissenegger, on 10/10/2007, -2/+13at least you've been invisible to the rest of the world 'cause you've been looking at that site for the last 12 hours....
damn that site is slow...... - tarmithius, on 10/10/2007, -1/+11Yeah because before Digg there was nothing like Slashdot, or Fark.
- bstock, on 10/10/2007, -1/+11What's with these sites lately that can't handle *****?
- Magee1205, on 10/10/2007, -6/+16Dugg down because I'm tired of having to click 8 different mirrors until I find the image.
- Eshestun, on 10/10/2007, -7/+17Why do people continue to digg this up when they can't even see the pictures?
- shopsinc, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10Here is the best camouflage I've ever seen. I can't even tell they are there!
http://blog.modernmechanix.com/2006/02/08/soldiers-wear-camouflage/ - egyber, on 10/10/2007, -3/+13so that they remember to look at it once it's back up!
- radiometric, on 10/10/2007, -2/+11Double posting allows me to block your dumb ass twice!
Yay! - epohs, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8You do know that digg.com is running on multiple web and database servers (around 75 total), all load balanced to handle massive amounts of trafic, right? That's heavy duty hardware.
When the bulk of digg's traffic hits some schmoe running wordpress who's used to maybe 100 hits a day things are going to crumble. - ayeroxor, on 10/10/2007, -2/+10"I thought he was going to be invisible?"
Do you have the slightest ***** idea why they call it a question mark? - Dradis, on 10/10/2007, -3/+11Site is screwed, here's some more images of Multicam:
http://img129.imageshack.us/img129/1156/patrol0lf.jpg (Guy in rear far left is wearing multicam)
http://www.nexternal.com/armynavy/images/multicam-BDU-shirt1.gif (Multicam BDU Jacket)
http://www.arcteryx.com/leaf/default.asp (Arcteryx sells bags etc. that use Multicam) - theotheragentm, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8*BANG* That's because you are already dead.
- scrumtrallecent, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8Still not as impressive as LL Cool J in the movie Toys.
- gcauthon, on 10/10/2007, -3/+11Nope, I can't see him. Now all we have to do is force the terrorists to use a slow internet connection and an unstable server to spot our snipers. Good idea!
