- Hayaemsay, on 02/07/2008, -1/+2[___] Carebox.
- amonie, on 02/07/2008, -0/+2nice... !
- theshizzler, on 02/07/2008, -0/+4I like 8 and 16. So often playing with brightness and contrast can lead to something garish.
- Rygood, on 02/07/2008, -0/+316 turned out really awesome, unfortunately the retoucher didn't want to do a write up. He said he loves retouching but is a bad writer but since I liked it i included it in the project anyways.
- diggface5000, on 02/07/2008, -0/+3i found #6 to be the most striking.. especially in contrast to the photos around it
- auer1816, on 02/07/2008, -0/+3Thanks diggface5000! I did #6! Unfortunately (for me) it seems that most people like the color versions better.
- Falldog, on 02/07/2008, -9/+2Most of these suck. Pretty much everyone knows how to play around with Photoshop filters. You can only take an image and boost the contrast or put it in gray scale so many times.
- dvsbastard, on 02/07/2008, -1/+4Well the three source images are right there on the page, so why don't you go ahead and create something better?!
Until then I'll just assume that you suck...- Falldog, on 02/07/2008, -4/+1Just pretend that I made it monotone, ran some contrast boost, then did a slight soften. That's skill there.
Besides, it's better to have the skills to a photo right the first time then have the skills to touch it up in photoshop.

- coheedcollapse, on 02/07/2008, -0/+4Some might draw inspiration from the fact that 17 people can give a photo 17 totally different meanings, but it depresses me a bit personally. I've always thought of photography as the pristine re-imagining of real life from a new perspective without any heavy editing. Now you can't even start browsing flickr without finding some heavily edited piece of crap run through an HDR tone compressor a million times to appeal to the rest of the photography scene.
The site is worth a digg just because it's interesting, but it sucks that I can't guarantee that the photo that I'm looking at is anywhere close to reality. There's always something nice about looking at an unedited photo and being in awe because the real-life place is really that beautiful. - digindrivefast, on 02/07/2008, -0/+3#8 - it has a spooky, ominous feel.
Water+fuel=osht - dinostabOMG, on 02/07/2008, -0/+2Photoshopped... I call shenanigans.
- Rygood, on 02/07/2008, -0/+2so one second it was on the top of the upcoming stories link, the next poof, gone. not a part of any list. whats up with that?
- auer1816, on 02/07/2008, -0/+2Some retard buried it. Too bad the digg algorithm kinda sucks right now.
