- Loky, on 05/24/2008, -3/+2I have this in my bookmarks already. Is a great link.
- Dreath, on 05/25/2008, -1/+1Honestly, does anyone still use bookmarks?
- tramblings, on 05/24/2008, -1/+6I bookmarked it too knowing that I'll likely never use it.. :P
- knightmarex, on 05/24/2008, -1/+13Why are they all missing the Doctype declaration?
- allowners, on 05/24/2008, -6/+1Nobody is perfect, but thanks for pointing that out.
- dyranios2, on 05/25/2008, -5/+2What is the "Doctype declaration"? thanks.
- blazes816, on 05/25/2008, -0/+2It tells the browser what type of page it is. Strict, Transitional, etc.
- allowners, on 05/26/2008, -1/+1To give yo laziness something to do.
- GhostWithToast, on 05/25/2008, -2/+4http://www.oswd.org/ Those are nice. Here is another great resource.
- toxicityj, on 05/25/2008, -1/+6the problem with oswd is that it hasn't had anything new added to it in over a year and a lot of the templates there are table-based. You're better off at http://opendesigns.org
besides, this site doesn't really contain css templates. They're css frameworks.- GhostWithToast, on 05/25/2008, -0/+2cool thanks for the link.
- ufia, on 05/25/2008, -1/+1Oh please no, not another anti-table bigot. Prove us that a html table layout puts more overhead on the browser than a css only layout. Or that css-based tables produce more maintainable code than html ones. I'm speaking in term of PHP generated pages obviously, html or css tables makes no difference whatsoever in the long run, it's only a preference on the developer's part. Of course if we talk about static files, then yes, editing 1 single css style file is going to be faster than modifying hundreds of html files individually. Duh!
BTW I'm proficient in both HTML and CSS layouts, that's not the issue. I'm just sick of elitist Web2.0 fanboys who are mindlessly parroting the XML wannabes without understand the technical implications beneath it. You will still have to rewrite your beloved CSS layout when the proper XML standards get fully rolled in newer browser versions. HTML tables are not going to be deprecated any time soon from W3C standards, use it to your liking.- toxicityj, on 05/25/2008, -0/+1Don't be such an ass. I prefer CSS over tables and instantly I'm some elitist fanboy all of a sudden. Get a grip.
While it is just a matter of preference, you'd be a fool to not see that tables are being phased out and CSS, which gives you a lot easier/more control over stuff, is replacing it. Why'd you use tables for anything other than tabular data is beyond me. But if you want all that extra, bloated code..knock yourself out.

- Rowan187, on 05/25/2008, -1/+4I think the world would be a much smarter place if everyone took 2 hours out of their day to learn CSS.
- toxicityj, on 05/25/2008, -0/+7Real men use floats to position their columns.
- eliburford, on 05/25/2008, -0/+2Good for the newbies like me. I really should learn how to do this stuff ... someday.
- Dreath, on 05/25/2008, -0/+2This website is great for getting the basic structure of a website, however I like using templates with a little more uniqueness. The website is still incredibly useful.
- Crizack, on 05/25/2008, -0/+6Thanks! I have a hard time finding great CSS templates like these! Between work and family I just can't find the time. Thanks again these will look excellent on my new cp site!
- thegsa, on 05/25/2008, -0/+4Stolen From Intensivstation.
