- MScrip, on 10/19/2007, -0/+29I'm so glad every site now looks like a Web 2.0 Wordpress template!
- MeAlexYouNot, on 10/10/2007, -6/+23Great list. Thanks.
- soulknowledge, on 10/10/2007, -3/+17Everyone's so civilized in the Upcoming section
Awesome list btw - le0pard, on 10/13/2007, -1/+11You should probably stay off Digg then.
- XsolidusX, on 10/10/2007, -4/+13I thought the http://www.web20generator.com/ link was hilarious. i might even use i lol
- darkane, on 10/25/2007, -1/+8Somebody should make a top 100 list of 'top 100 web 2.0 generator' lists.
- Flagg3, on 10/25/2007, -2/+6Blog spam. Here is the original quoted source:

- michaelb1, on 10/25/2007, -0/+4My only regret is that I have but one digg to give.
- michaelb1, on 10/25/2007, -0/+3I heard CSS 3 will do rounded corners and drop shadows natively.
No more making corner gifs and needle/threading them into the layout. - jeston13, on 10/13/2007, -0/+3this is my work this guy stole it !

clearly i am going to sue his ass back to oblivion and back - skyrocketlabs, on 10/10/2007, -3/+6Many of the items on this list produce very messy, 1990's-worthy HTML markup or pointless web elements that don't have anything to do with social bookmarking, RIAs and the like. I fail to see how this list can qualify as 'Web 2.0'.

see http://www.ajaxflakes.com/web-20/top-100-online-ge ... - aaronm67, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3I know I love sites that have useless intro pages, are designed entirely in flash, that start playing music as soon as I open up the site, open up a new window if I click on just about any link, and that have stupid little flashy things follow around my cursor. Good web design there.

Good resource and examples of CSS3. :) - Davers, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3LOL
douchebag. - maheshee11, on 10/10/2007, -9/+10A very useful list, buddy.
- wellyuk, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3Err.. what's a fad? Social sites and user generated content? Yeah, because we're all going back to good old days of table layouts and web-safe colours.
- OutThisLife, on 10/10/2007, -4/+5Photoshop, Notepad++ or E Texteditor, and Google will get you all these things.
- mentor972, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1lol
- tanvir69d0n, on 10/25/2007, -0/+1It's a life saver...
- marc2242, on 10/10/2007, -5/+6A nice list worth bookmarking for future reference.
- OutThisLife, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I hate that the term "web 2.0" is often used to describe a certain web-design style.
However, the clients want a "web 2.0" website with shiny graphics, icons, etc. So that's what we do. - theadvinci, on 07/03/2008, -0/+1Well that site sucks socks.
- aaronm67, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1"have useless intro pages" - Yes how dare websites be fun and entertaining
Intro pages aren't fun or entertaining, they're forcing you to click on an extra link to see any sort of content.
"designed entirely in flash" - well if you are not using a modern computer with a modern browser well get with the times
It's fine to use flash as part of your site, but creating the entire site in flash will just make a confusing interface (like in the site you metioned, I couldn't find the menu because it was hidden behind a bunch of useless animations)
"start playing music as soon as I open the site" a site about a musician should not play music?
A site about a musician can play music...just not as soon as the page loads. Add in a music player at the top/bottom (a very good use for flash), but having sound play the second a page loads is really irritating, especially if there is no obvious way to turn it off (like in the johnnycash.com). - inactive, on 10/25/2007, -1/+2well worth a digg :)
- inactive, on 10/13/2007, -0/+1Yours is much better. ;)

see http://www.ajaxflakes.com/web-20/top-100-online-ge ... - geekoid, on 10/25/2007, -1/+1The whole web 2.0 thing should be renamed to Me 2.0 since everyone's site looks the same.
- fuckingusername, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2my favorite list
http://generatorblog.blogspot.com/ - wellyuk, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0The web2.0 style of thinking? Is the web 2.0 style of thinking all about glossy buttons, rounded corners and big fonts? Or is it in fact the way web site developers and users think about and use and implement web sites?
- kds71, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1I'm blind, or author didn't add very useful ColorJack: Sphere ( http://www.colorjack.com/sphere/ ) to Color Generators list?
- rodted2, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&defl=en&q=defin ...
A generator is just some applet or code someone wrote to do something or to look like something in the Web2.0 style of thinking. - lokendra1989, on 07/29/2008, -0/+0I like it it's too good

(web designer) - sockpuppets, on 10/10/2007, -2/+22.0 died the day pownce was anownced.
- rrrrw22, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1The domain generators section is pretty weak. They don't list bustaname.com, makewords.com, and a whole lot of the other good ones out there.
- gogowes, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1These are sick! Great job!
- solid12345, on 10/10/2007, -2/+0I pray for the death of this web 2.0 fad. It has produced nothing but cookie cutter websites that all rely on pseudo shiny gradient logos, easter egg pastel palettes and icons with little bathroom-sign like men.
Go to the official johnnycash.com site, saw a story on the guy who made that being from my town. Now THAT is good web design. It has personality and is not soul-less trash. - psichonaut, on 10/25/2007, -3/+0^^

- stickywheelz, on 10/10/2007, -5/+1great list but have to say the web2.0 logo generator is horrible. LOL
- netade, on 10/10/2007, -4/+0Damn...there's almost 180 in that list! That's a whole lot of cut 'n pasting. Thanks!

What is Digg?
