My husband and myself have purchased Mohawk carpet from Lowes and when the installers came they rolled out the carpet in the living room and the installer told us that it was defective carpet. That it was cording, and that meant it will fall apart. He showed us what he meant and demostrated by rubbing the carpet and it did cord. So we sent the carpet back to Lowe's and got a partial refund. Now keep in mind our home was all in disorder due to the carpet being laid and so now we had things all stacked up and packed up and moved around and padding only on part of our floor. So now the task was to get someone else to lay the carpet and find more carpet. At someones recommendation we went to a carpet store called Williams and we had a new carpet installer come. Well we looked through the carpet they told us they had not had any complaints about their Mohawk carpeting. So again we purchased this carpet and a week later the layers came and laid the new carpet. They brought a whole team with them and had the house done in 4 hours. Well things seemed fine at first then in about a month the carpet started doing the same thing the first carpeting from Lowes did. It had lines running from the living room area down the hall to one of the bedrooms. My husband called the carpet installer 3 times with him never returning our calls. Then after Christmas was over my husband called the Williams Carpet Store. They started the paper work to file a claim with Mohawk and a rep was suppose to contact us and come and look at the carpet. This has been 2 weeks and so far no call from the rep. Now me and my husband have many different
health problems and I am not suppose to lift more than a laundry basket that is empty. And here we go having to move all of our things again and go through all of the mess and hassle not to mention my nerves are about on their last thread. Why is it fair that we have to go through all of this again and not get anything out of it from MoHawk . We don't think we should have to be out anything anymore for all our trouble
with this company and their product that is flawed. With the economy in the shape it is in money is hard to come by and to buy flawed products shouldn't even be a question of what a company should do to please the consumer that has been through what we have been through with their flawed product. So come on MoHawk. Do right by us and fix this problem and make it worth our while for all the trouble we have been through due to your company's lack of work ethic by sending out a flawed product to company's to sell to us in the first place.
