Listening Post by Ben Rubin and Mark Hansen

sfgate.com — I went and saw the Dark Matters exhibit at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco. One of the pieces at the exhibit was this "Listening Post". These 231 screens scrape the web and display different tidbits of peoples' sentences from all over public chat rooms, forums and web sites. It was very neat to see in person.
