- KlayBorg, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8Currently, blue green algae is destroying the Barrier Reef, as fishing has killed its natural predator. The Barrier Reef, unless serious action is taken, will not last.
- crushtheenemy, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9how many seven wonders of the world are there?
- vonskippy, on 10/10/2007, -9/+16Yawn, more color ***** spam. Just put a permanent link to their site on the front page and be done with it.
- mattmollysdad, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7I actually like "colourlovers" but think they should have a short paragraph on colors in general and why they think it is important to summit their stuff. Actually working with colors, i.e. garments for 20 yrs did make me very aware of the 50 different red shades and the many blues, blacks and whites. I do react strongly to certain colors and hate other ones... like this ***** green above the box I'm writing in.
- Rezistik, on 10/10/2007, -2/+6Why does it need to hit the front page everytime someone uses a color dropper on a picture?
- Monolith4, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Disregarding the controversy over whether or not colorlovers is spam, for the moment...
I learned to dive on the great barrier reef when i backpacked around australia back in 2002. And the colors... my god... if anything from colorlovers deserves to get dugg, this is it. The vast myriad of colors, all twinkling with the light of the sky and the movement of thousands of species was just breathtaking. Even doing night dives was spectacular, as you could glide through this pitch black ethereal void, with the only light being the bright beacon of the full moon floating overhead.
I really cant say enough about the reef. I'd kill to go back. - Tenoq, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2True, but we shouldn't be accelerating the process.
- KlayBorg, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Organic living material (ie, the barrier reef) regenerates, thus, does not fade.
- resplence, on 10/10/2007, -6/+7I used to bury colourlovers under 'ok this is lame', but after 2 frontpages on the same day, it's going down as SPAM.
- Tenoq, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2I only know of the Natural Wonders and the Man-Made Wonders. But I'm sure the land-of-the-free has come up with a few more. ;-)
Enjoy it while it's there, guys. 10-20 years and the Great Barrier Reef will be mostly dead coral thanks to global warming, over-fishing & pollution. - frostw, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1The Wonder Wonderers
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3I agree with the others the first few posts for this site were nice, but now its just a site to bookmark and look at when you need some inspiration
- abhilash, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Im with Monolith (although I *never* thought i'd say "i'm with monolith" in any context - ever). yeah yeah, everyone hates the colourlovers, but i'm just feeling the fact that these palletes were created from some gorgeous natural images.
- EuphopiaB, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1All things fade in time.
- TDEdigg, on 10/10/2007, -8/+6Yawn, just another complainer.
FWIW I have a bookmark to their site and hadn't seen this posting until I saw it here... - resplence, on 10/10/2007, -4/+2Ever heard of something called RSS feeds?
- OBKenobi, on 10/10/2007, -4/+1Who decides this stuff anyway?
- OBKenobi, on 10/10/2007, -8/+4I know these colo(u)r ***** stories are being submitted to prove just how dumb the average digger has become. Digg this again, and prove what clueless idiots you really are, diggers.

- burymobile, on 10/10/2007, -6/+1I heard they made Dustin Diamond the 8th wonder of the world
- myfanwy, on 10/10/2007, -7/+2yeah, cos i give a ***** what cnn thinks. particularly about anything to do with nature, that corrupt right-wing, bush-supporting, pro-business, anti-people group of bastards. nice colours though
- esdjco, on 10/10/2007, -8/+2WTF was this lame link? This is on digg...why?
- IShouldBeWorkin, on 10/10/2007, -17/+4Am i the only one that noticed the URL spells it COLOUR the english way, but everywhere on the page including the title spells it COLOR the american way.
Just an observation, i dont want to get into a brit vs. yank fight here
