Nah, too easy. - hmmmok, on 10/12/2007, -0/+24I followed the instructions, but it folded out to Darth Vader !?!
- theOster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14i just printed out the final image and tacked it to my wall. much easier.
- DreKor, on 10/12/2007, -10/+23I think it should be illegal to link to PDFs
- mrloco, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11For me, Origami leads to frustration. Frustraton leads to anger, and anger leads to the dark side.

- tweekgeek, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Just use the force, import98. Use the force.
- nakedlobo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Who are "they"? It wasn't even paid off yet!!!!
Okay, I love you to... - LouCypher, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5"My dad ( an acomplish origami builder) tryed but its hard and very long"
Try not. Do or do not. There is no try... - flashback99, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Tip: This model, works great when made out of foil backed paper - ideal for sculpting the final bits
if anyone's interested it turns out like this: http://www.oxfordorigami.co.uk/index_files/images/DSC00079.jpg
(a pic of one made a few years ago...) - Buttercup, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4$5 says the guy above is stoned off his ass.
- joaob, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I just clicked on each of your AdSense ads 8 times.
Welcome to spamming digg. - CingleMolt, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5I wish I could digg the death star comment twice.
- Matri, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Link Alert - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/3199/
Puts the link file icon on your mouse cursor. - Import98, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3There is no way I could figure this out with those instructions. =/
- LemonFresh33, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Not exactly straightforward to fold though...
everything went horribly wrong for me at steps 25-26 ish... - ICSU, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5http://www.duggmirror.com/design/Jedi_Master_Yoda_Origami_Figure_Step_by_step_pdf_instructions/
- chmod, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2As I originally said, look at what the link is pointing to. If it is a pdf, quit bitching and don't click on it. If you actually read my post you would realize that I was mentioning it as a secondary possibility. Don't worry, though, an ad hominem attack works too.
P.S. I am already really, really impressed (as we all are). - Lamtd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2What's wrong with PDF links anyway ?
- ikak, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3its called sarcasm... you idiot
- Beerduck, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Everything seems fine until pic 23. But what the hell are you supposed to do to 24 to make it look like 25?
I can't make heads or tails out of those folds. - imikedaman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Oops, I was editing my post when I ran out of time. Here's a link to a PDF that shows what all those symbols mean:
http://www.serve.com/hecht/origami/diags/advside1.pdf - nathanwalker, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Oh man, are you kidding me? I got stuck just at step 7 ...
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Wow... that was easy...
- rocktopotomus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2hahah. yeah step 40 = just do SOMETHING that will eventually look like fingers. and since I started with a 4x4 inch square Im happy with yoda just having a claw.
- imikedaman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2"Got to 28 myself. Something I don't get about 28 to 29..."
You may already know this, but the lines that look like this:
"- - - - - - - -"
means the crease should be folded towards you, then
"- . - . - . - ."
means the crease at that step is folded away from you.
For step 28, the actual fold is the horizontal "- - -" crease at the top. If you fold upwards against that line, the rest of the step will begin to make sense. - DeFex, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1You need a black belt in origami to do that one.
- tahim, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1let's all thank cliff for the repost... again.
- mbondr, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4Darn, gone already! I hope this makes it to the top so I can find it again and someone posts an alternative URL. I think my kids may love this.
- LordFalstaff, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I want to see a picture taken of the best paper yoda.
- Gutterpunk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Got to 28 myself. Something I don't get about 28 to 29...
- Terc, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3WARNING: PDF LINK!
- novaneil, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarcasm
miles01110 you idiot. - imikedaman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Fold along the diagonal "- - - -" line, place your finger inside the hole where the white arrow is, and push where the black arrow shows. The paper should collapse into the shape in figure 8.
- Nieton21, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I tried and that ***** was way over my head! I guess I better look for a different career since I can't use the force.
- se7en11, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2@LordFalstaff
This took me about 3 seconds to "make" -> http://www.techblog.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2006/06/yoda.JPG
* google images is your friend - jsnalnt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Past anger and well into the dark side...
- skilar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Me too. I have no clue what they are asking you to do there.
- DreKor, on 10/12/2007, -6/+6I think it's more an issue of having to serve the same non-web optimized file a few thousand times in 20 minutes. I'm at the corporate HQ of a regional telecom company and we have our own fiber coming into the basement and I'm running Firefox with a gig and a half of ram. It probably isn't my system you ignorant elitist.
- Informativo, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2and to think
- gerry87, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1is he a black belt?
- LordFalstaff, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0that's really awesome.
- bigdaddyk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This would be difficult enough in English
- fossor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I can't figure out 24. What does the different arrow types on the top mean?
- Rivetgeek, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2I, however, didn't click on each of them 32 times. You now owe google, $50
- jakebarnes, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1What's a Yoda?
