- eric1, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12Looks like a fun place to work. It seems so unlike the culture of similar companies.
- sekyuritei, on 10/12/2007, -5/+14I've got them beat. I work here: http://www.pornpalace.com/setimages/?dir=images_public (Kink.com)
- i440, on 10/12/2007, -4/+13Great googley moogley
- diatrevolo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7What's so funny?
- followme, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8ikeaoogle
- infowar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6I used to work at Google in SF, and let me tell you as much as you think people are loungin' around playing games, pool, ping pong, or something else it doesn't happen. It's kinda just a show, more so then practical use of it by employees. To go one step further, its kinda ungoogley sometimes to be playing during work hours. I remember not being able to play pool by the engineers because they considered the noise level too high.
Also, the food is great. After a month though, you don't eat as much as you did the first week. The first week is the google 15. The best part though is the wide variety of drinks you'll find on campus. My favorite for a jolt...BAWLS - zoom1928, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Some amateur just bought his first zoom lens and is over using it. Those are some lame pictures.

Why are they destroying Moscow? - Dougcope, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Very cool.
Where do they actually work though? - Grimboy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4@millixaw: I'd prefer to work in a trendy atmosphere with loads of poseurs than an atmosphere with far to much politics filled with suits who don't understand but make the decisions anyway.
- mrASSMAN, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3"the second largest building in NYC in terms of square footage."
..Holy *****! - jabberwock1977, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I'd have expected an affluent 'hip' company such as google to have slicker offices. These seem like a joke (Nathan Barley anyone?). A kind of parody of late 90's new media companies - they even have a ping pong table and bean bags! And their reception looks horrible - surprising as this is likely to be their front-end. I don't know, perhaps they're still setting up but I was quite surprised by these pics. Most record co.s in London have much nicer, 'funkier' offices where a bit of the budget has gone on design.

- mastercheif, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Don't just look at the index, look at the pictures. The Index thumbs are croped.
- kernelhappy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Anyone else think it was odd that the TV in the guitar hero pic is a tube tv, not a flat screen of some sort?
- tittayz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2you'd think a company worth as much as google would be able to afford ***** that wasn't old IKEA *****
- MrTinker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2VERY nice menu.
- Grimboy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I guess they couldn't keep the place consistant with the minimalistic design of their front page. Maybe they were just so full of bad design that they couldn't let lose on their front page that they just puked it all up in Manhattan.
- Daniel591992, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1They had a lot of stuff from ikea. The hand chair thing is from them.
- astrotrain, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Moe: "Welll fancy that...."
Curly: "Mmmmh.... no you fancy that!" - arnar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Check out the map - what's the deal with the guy in the middle of the Hudson?
- friedclyde, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2@ eric1 i agree i would work with google just for the food and desert :)
- joerod, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1its a intranet site, do you think they want you to know where all their employees work? it seems that a couple of googlers live in my hood though.
- andrewrchambers, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0how can you possibly "relax" as the picture suggests when you would be a blatant target for that huge red rubber ball
- rysolag, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1it looks like it smells in there. especially in the games room.
- brownspank, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Wow, those rooms sure cover a number of demographics.
- GarrettWu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0They works in heaven and I work in trash yard.
- damber, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2I'm glad I'm not the only one to think that... looks rather tacky to me, especially for a corporate environment - even SME's have better looking interiors - this just looks like cheap furniture, cheap design and even cheaper photo's (which are not exactly revealing)...
- hankosky, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1:( Firefox can't find the server at photos.corp.google.com.
- Pharaoh777, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Nice. How's the place? In SF right?
- jrbrewin, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2they don't work; they just eat free food and play cranky ps2 games. Nice to see all those swindled adword dollars are being spent wisely.
- joerod, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1this is not bad, but I've visited the rockstar nyc studio and its much cooler then this.
- lazydrumhead, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1almost as cool as Pixar.
- byronm, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I've got it beat.. i work at home, in a home office where i don't have to look at candy colored furniture all day, get to play games during lunch, walk to a yummy coffee shop and i don't have to feel like i'm part of some supreme corporate culture.
googly shmoogly - millixaw, on 10/12/2007, -6/+5Are you being sarcastic? It looks the same as any other "hip" computer companies' offices.
Wait a minute, all computer companies are "hip" so, that's redundant. - gojeda, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0A weird-ass culture they seem to have at Google.
- leonwehttam, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1***** that looks like a fun place to work!
- sfchris, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1The chick in the white pants in the reception photo has a fantastic ass. Who is she?
- americanistsam, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1Great pics!. i wish if i could work there someday LOL
- jerrysizzler, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1you clearly don't work the same kind of job as those google folks...if you did, then i hope you get good vision insurance, cause that lighting is good for one thing - and it sure as hell isn't deskwork....well, maybe, i've seen some pretty interesting uses for desks!
