- gortface, on 07/08/2009, -4/+15Eh, 3d is overrated. holding out for 4d.
- ivankraszl, on 07/08/2009, -0/+8Here are some real life examples of this technique. Just won Cannes Lions!

- xCIone, on 07/08/2009, -4/+9Absolutely brilliant tutorial.i should try this out
- JonnyCasino, on 07/08/2009, -0/+5Very thorough tutorial, though the result will vary on the skills of user level. For those who are just starting out, I recommend you zoom in on the area that you are using free-hand techniques. Overall good tutorial.
- Twenty5, on 07/08/2009, -0/+5I dont think the shadows on the Dd example are right.
- slimjim5811, on 07/08/2009, -0/+5Today's Sesame Street is brought to you by the letter D.
- KevenM, on 07/08/2009, -1/+673 steps! I think it would be easier to go out and buy big foam letters and sitting them on a sofa.
- inactive, on 07/08/2009, -1/+6Definitely 'shopped.
- cjflashman, on 07/08/2009, -3/+6I put a tex on imaeg.
- immatellyouwhat, on 07/08/2009, -0/+3This reminds me of the new SyFy logo....yeah I like it! Much better than the glossy gradient sitting on a glass table crap you see everywhere now.
- nipterink, on 07/08/2009, -0/+3totally fooled me. when it first loaded, i was thinking, man where can i get me one of those Dd's
- jggube, on 07/08/2009, -0/+3Definitely Illustrator'ed too.
- dicer999, on 07/08/2009, -1/+4Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiidddddddgggggggeeeeeeee rrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaacccccceeeerrrrrrr
- minnecrapolis, on 07/08/2009, -0/+2Real! I can tell by the lack of pixels.
- imkidred, on 07/09/2009, -0/+1Looks really good and it's a very good tutorial, but I have to add my opinion that the shadows cast onto the couch as seen through the interior spaces of the D's onto the couch do not make sense or align with the light source. Otherwise, great stuff, hate to nitpick.
- lazy6pyro, on 07/08/2009, -1/+2Pretty neat tutorial. Some work still needs to be done to match it to the rest of the scene more by adding in some color grain, blurring the edges more, and spot brushing some differing highlights.
but a really neat and simple effect. - chooochooo, on 07/08/2009, -3/+2wow! very nice tutorial...
- spriggig, on 07/08/2009, -16/+10The light in the room is coming from behind the camera, possibly a window or door as can be seen from the shadow from the plant-like ornament on the table. The light falling on the Dd is apparently much higher and seems to affect only the Dd. This really isn't very good.
- chrisnyce2002, on 07/08/2009, -11/+3the real artist will pay attentions to details - but cool effect for amateurs nonetheless or those just starting out
