roxik.com — Masayuki Kido is a Japanese webdesigner who shows some unusual drag and drop features on his Roxik website. Really cool.

      The blowing wind was neat, and the individual reactions were ok, but the individual parts of the body didnt really espond well. THe head was always saggy, when you pulled fast the bodies all separated. and there was no account for bon structure or them grabbing onto other parts of an object once you released them from the original spot.

      As about 30 seconds of my time: neat
      as a business: needs more work

      Same here. Odd how often that happens lately. It seems like every new build of Firefox is easier to crash just by visiting an odd website.

      PS. Somebody needs to add "Firefox" to the Digg spellchecker. =P

Give me some squash and stretch, or interaction of thrown objects with each other, or at least people grabbing onto others when thrown across them 20 times. Still, it was entertaining for a few seconds.
    • ThinkBox, on 10/12/2007, -8/+3I agree, it needs more than just anchor points. The bodies only seem human b/c of their shapes and anchor points. there was no action or bones inside them. The heads just bobbed back, and once they let go - there was nothing really do but drop them.

      I wish I could see how this is applied to websites he has done besides his own. His employer website is down.

Maybe that will be the next phase of the project? I'm more than willing to give the guy a break on this one, it's a toy people! Let it be what it is. I'm willing to accept the 30 seconds of grinning I got from this as a gift.
