- chris9902, on 10/12/2007, -4/+14those tabs look horrid. And lets be honest, if this didn't have "web 2.0" in the title it would still have 1 digg.
- jtrost, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8There is nothing Web 2.0 about that. Marked as lame.
- maddox, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9Agreed. More like Web 0.5-alpha than Web 2.0!
- aaroncampbell, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Already I don't prefer image-based tabs, but if you must...at least ALSO code it, and don't make things part of the image that don't need to be (the rectangles should be a background-color in CSS, the text should be text, etc).
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Horribly choppy, this looks like "Web .05"
- rEvolution3, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4this is lame... it doesn't even say how to create a web 2.0 tab.. it's how to create an arch. It pisses me off when people try to pass off image production as having anything to do with web 2.0.. the images that they are calling that were all present in GOOD web pages since before there was a distinction between 'versions'.
- Restrikted, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2So I just make that little rectangle thing and it automatically creates the necessary CSS for my page? COOL!!! (sarcasm).
What makes different tab tutorials unique is how they go about creating the menu with the code. You didn't even cover that! - Me1000, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Didn't take too long for us to crash their server!
- felch, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2More like, how to create javascript tabs. Circa 1999. Lame. He's probably spamming for that stupid site himself.
- evanwalsh, on 05/04/2008, -1/+1Lame. Ugly outcome.
- shaunxcore, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1logged in just to digg this down. how did this even get anywhere near the front page? there's got to be bots at work.
- brendanc, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1It isn't down...
- wingnut21, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1"I also hope you'll find this useful into increasing your Fireworks design skills."
Seriously, do any real designers use Fireworks? My impression is the only thing that comes out of Fireworks are web sites with tons of swooping going on, which was popular in the late 90's. - Coal, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Thats what I was thinking.
They look ugly, and aren't Web 2.0.
Buried. - nextlevel233, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2Nice one, wasn't used to do this in fireworks
- Boghiu, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1Well, it did help me improve my Firefox knowledge base... or something.
