- Samsong, on 10/12/2007, -4/+14In Soviet Russia, English shocks you!
I don't care, bury me... At least I thought it was funny... - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10Want to know how to make $$$? Hold down Shift and quickly press "4" button!!!
- VeryAngryJim, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8Yeah nothing worse than supporting people who put free content on the web.
Jackass. - crawfishsoul, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Alt + F4 works too. ;P
- podgey22, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7It is still "yet another HUGE" list of other peoples' content...
They haven't even checked it for contradictory statements and articles as stevemax points out below.
1. Google for articles on something popular and make them into a list
2. ???
3. Profit!!!
They're not even trying to be original... Not that I am by using a Southpark joke, but still... I'm not vying for your clicks. - SteveMax, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3“You can now run AdSense on the same page as other contextual ad programs.”
Then later:
"Do not run competitive contextual text ad [...] on the same site."
Confused? - kufurex, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4"We’ve spent several hours, trying to find out, what might increase your Google AdSense income"
Wow! Several hours?! That is some extensive research. lol - johnsee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2You can have competing ads, but not ads that are similar to the google adsense style. IE: Other text link ads that look like adsense.
- justinlarsen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Smashing Magazine got SMASHED by digg, whole site is *****. But oddly enough the ads still show up.

It's not working.. what am I doing wrong? - billraydrums, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Seems that Google Adsense equates to modern-day alchemy. Get it right and turn an intangible thing (clicking a word on a screen) into $$$ for your bank account.
- hazemtorab81, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I can't believe that small images beside ads are violating the adsense rules, I see it every day in many sites....
If anyone banned by doing it please reply - shaman312, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Smashing Magazine could've used a copy editor for that article. Any $$$ in that?
- lordvader, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Adsense? No thanks! They cancel publisher accounts without warnings, without any cause and without any explanation of the problem. Their law is that your are guilty and you have no chance to be innocent. I think it is inconstitutional in USA :D.
Many people has been banned and the worst thing is that google don't payed the money earned! If you have a website, go with good and more profitable ad companies like valueclick. - worldarcade, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0I like adbrite.
- ray901, on 10/12/2007, -13/+2Does anyone actually ever click on those ads? I guess they do, I go out of my way to block or ignore them.
I know people who say to click the ads to support the site, but it is a vicious circle. We click ads to support a free site, they make money, more free sites appear, more ads, more clicks, more money, more free sites, more ads....... I don't want to be in that circle-jerk thank you.
