- DiggsUnder, on 10/17/2009, -1/+8yo dawg, its 2009, use the internets
- OverDriven, on 10/17/2009, -1/+4I'm feeling a bit stupid today. I use analytics in every site I build. Hell...I spend 1 hour a day analyzing analytics data to improve website function for various clients. For some reason, it left my brain right after I read it and I forgot it was in the article.
- buzzyapyear, on 10/17/2009, -4/+7I'm a designer and a developer. I use all of these at least once a week I'd say. I didn't realize I was only 1 of 5 out of a 1000. I'm a rare breed!
- bringitontimx, on 10/17/2009, -1/+3WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT? REPORTED.
- RobotBuddha, on 10/17/2009, -3/+5Only 5 in a 1000 use either google analytics or dropbox?
- OverDriven, on 10/17/2009, -2/+4I've been a designer/coder for around 6 years. The only one I've used is Khuler, but I can't say that I've even really applied it in a project. I'm going to look into the others though...they seem like they could be useful for future endeavors.
- Subduction, on 10/17/2009, -1/+2I'm not trying to be holier-than-thou, but if you're a professional developer that makes money using these tools, you really should pay for the software that make your living possible.
- mcphilip, on 10/17/2009, -1/+2russian pr0n web sites. useful, but not top 5 material.
- Spanq, on 10/17/2009, -1/+2Pretty stupid that it claims IE as an unsupported browser. Yes, I know IE sucks and is the bane of the Web, but most the world still uses it.
- alpha88, on 10/17/2009, -1/+2Google Analytics is pretty sweet actually, bro.
- drawds, on 10/17/2009, -2/+3Personally I use http://www.kohive.com to work with my clients. Meets most of my needs.
- jugglingjon, on 10/17/2009, -2/+2What web designer doesn't use google analytics? All of these sites are really popular, you're crazy.
- indyGuy, on 10/17/2009, -2/+2Good idea. Troll digg instead.
- inactive, on 10/17/2009, -3/+3So, there are tools on the internet for creating your own polls.
Make one, send it to 1000 designers and report back to Digg.
Or, shut the ***** up. - Shawn10000, on 10/17/2009, -2/+1I am a Graphic Design student, and 2 of these I know are very popular Basecamp is an excellent application to keep in touch with clients on a project, and we use it in some of our classes. I have also learned about google analytics, and it is an amazing peice of software for finding out where people are viewing your site from, and what their seach quarries were in Google. haha, it is amazing to see what people have googled to find your site. As well it is interesting how you can use search optimization with custom tags so that you are found sooner. After all the more clicks you get the better you are.
- mcphilip, on 10/17/2009, -2/+1Diigo is an impressive web page annotation tool with a decent social networking component for sharing markup. I was thinking about writing something similar myself until I did my research and found something kickass was already out there.
http://www.diigo.com/ - aywwts4, on 10/17/2009, -3/+1Yes Analytics is the creme of the crop. Goal tracking, seeing what paid vistors / vs free vistors are doing, customized charts and graphs, incredibly useful.
- serif69, on 10/17/2009, -6/+3I use dropbox, basecamp, and kuler at least weekly.
So we're 1 for 1. - DonCarcharo, on 10/17/2009, -4/+1You've never used Google Analytics? The others I can see as they're situational. For example, you likely wouldn't use Basecamp unless you were part of a team. However Analytics is so ubiquitous I was certain that virtually every web dev used it. That said if you haven't used it, you should. It's built upon Urchin but features some rather impressive UI enhancements along with Adwords integration - right down to goal tracking. Seriously good stuff.
- diggaligg, on 10/17/2009, -8/+2I would look into these services more closely but I'd rather be productive.
- jeexbit, on 10/17/2009, -10/+1I use this one quite often:

invaluable. - supperohero, on 10/17/2009, -18/+5This is what I call a cheap advertisement.
Believe me, ask a 1000 designers and no more than 5 will include the ones you mentioned.
First comment and first bury.
