I remember reading about e-ink so many years ago and watching my "normal" friends squint and shake their heads at me as I excitedly explained this new technology to them and assured them that it was "right around the corner". Half of them didn't believe me or thought I was crazy; the other half were finally convinced that I really was the biggest geek they'd ever met.
