I think there was a safari like theme for firefox that was just glossed over with black, but it was only firefox 2 so i'm still waiting.

    Dark themes REQUIRE setting the window color to black. That green crap they're using just looks horrible.
    Just fyi, I use PitchDark.

    Setting up a window border that isn't seafoam green would have been a start.

    all of the themes suck horribly except for OldFactory, which only sucks a little bit.

Not very far removed from the default theme (and as you might guess - microsoft office 2007) - none of those rubbish: look-at-me-i'm-oh-so-web-2.0-glossy-buttons. Most importantly the dark colours are muted, so you can actually look at it without burning your eyes out. That helps especially when viewing an all-white page (such as google, facebook and half the internet really). All in all the only dark theme i've come across with an emphasis on usability. Last time I checked it wasn't available for mac unfortunately. Not sure about linux.

Not sure I understand what bugmenot does stormado... if you could illuminate that'd be cool (I tried the anycolor and it didn't seem that close). I'vve been using the Office 2007 theme and it's still the best I've found.
