Fidg't Visualizer = Last.fm + Flickr + Tags + People + WOW!
fidgt.com — The Fidg't Visualizer allows you to play around with your network through Flickr and LastFM tags, using any tag to create a Magnet. Once a Tag Magnet is created, members of the network will gravitate towards it if they have photos or music with that same Tag.

- freesecrets, on 10/19/2007, -3/+14Looks like a new trend for web 2.0 is developing :) I only wish more servicves weree added.
- cdharrison, on 10/11/2007, -2/+9Agreed. The lack of additional services is the only thing that prevented me from trying this out when I initially saw it.
- dscx, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7Pretty neat, it makes some annoying noises though and the mute button crashes it on my system! Shame it's written in Java :( It also doesnt scale up to higher resolutions properly, overall quite buggy. Would be cool as an interactive desktop background or screensaver though...
- steviedc, on 10/11/2007, -7/+1dropping vowels? :)
- unleashedlive, on 10/19/2007, -10/+15No intel-mac support.
- mflux, on 10/11/2007, -2/+34Hello
I am the developer for the visualization component. As far as intel-mac support goes... I've been currently developing it on an intel-mac so I can tell you first-hand that it works. However we're having trouble getting sound to run on intel-macs since the library we're using is not universal binary yet.
Thanks for checking it out! - cosmicv, on 10/19/2007, -3/+2Dont think Ill be giving out my login credentials for my accounts to anyone.

- ablez3, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8if they add Digg to the network

- Haydio, on 10/19/2007, -28/+24 comments and front page?
- Murdats, on 10/11/2007, -7/+15omfg will these comments ever end?
digg needs a comment filter
block any comments along the lines of
"only x diggs and y comments and its front page?"
"dupe, bla bla moan waaa"
"burried for x"
"what a stupid/lame/timewasting story"
and probably more - sonofalink, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4How about just putting
*
in the comments filter? that would work for me.
- Murdats, on 10/11/2007, -7/+15omfg will these comments ever end?
- oyflaaaayvin, on 10/11/2007, -10/+0+wow? i thought vista sucked...

- pointy, on 10/11/2007, -7/+1not for me.u pp are brave giving an unknown ppl your username and password. this is a spy software. and the first one to spy is the one thats use it
- dbr_onix, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1This seems a very over elaborate way to get something that is largely useless.. Find, email logins are one thing, but last.fm is pretty much only good for finding new music (Since that's what it was designed for), Flickr is slightly more "important" quite a few people pay for full memberships, but even still the "evil" things you can do with a flickr account are pretty much limited to uploading the "goatse" image and such..
And you can download the Java app and use it without entering your passwords, it seems to just require your username

- SneezyRobot, on 10/11/2007, -4/+1Pretty cool concept, I'll be looking forward to see how this develops :) (but i wont be keeping it until it's more stable)

- pyry, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1So, why isn't the sign-up form HTTPS? Sure, AIM passwords are encrypted by blowfish, but short of sniffing my own packets (heh) how do I prove this?
- retrac1324, on 10/19/2007, -1/+3Where's the WoW?
/sarcasm - steamedlice, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1Initially interesting, but utterly useless... does that mean it's the embodiment of Web 2.0?
- windwaker, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1This is great, but definitely not worth the 60MB+ this takes to run (if you include Java). Especially for something that could be considered a widget.
- douglasfp, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1where is youtube?
- doronster195, on 10/19/2007, -1/+2Anyn'e els' tir'd of all these webs't nam's with missn'g vowl's, like Flickr, scrib'd, etc.
