- mrfunktastic, on 03/13/2009, -1/+4I guarantee you that no one, not one single person before this article has EVER said "web design without typography is like an orange without its peel."
- annjay, on 03/13/2009, -1/+4These are really beautiful typography blogs and some of them are simply amazing...I inspired :)
- emkaysmith, on 03/14/2009, -0/+1It's not about "liking" or "hating," it's about visitors to your website being able to read it easily. But if that's not an issue, then you might consider doing your site in 19th century circus-poster type. All upper case, of course.
- emkaysmith, on 03/13/2009, -1/+2The only thing worse than a website with fifteen different "grunge" fonts is blinking text. Too many fonts that are too garish is the mark of a novice.
As a small publisher, I've dealt with typography in the hard-copy world for years, and any serious -- and readable -- design work for books and reports can get along wonderfully with maybe six fonts. I've used Minion Pro in perhaps 75% of the publications I've designed and published. - findhostcoupons, on 03/14/2009, -0/+1Quite good blog design examples! I like them very much!
- makenshi, on 03/13/2009, -2/+3When Firefox 3.5 is released which supports css web fonts at last (which WebKit has done for some time), we should hopefully see even better type on the web.

- rgbg66, on 04/21/2009, -0/+0Some very interesing ideas expressed here
http://urdogtraining.com - iwalkintodoors, on 03/13/2009, -1/+1Typography is like a bannana without its peel, everyday. But, yeah, an orange without its peel, never.
- WYendrys, on 03/13/2009, -1/+1Typography is so underrated. Some rather lovely blogs on that list.
My brother recently (within the last week) made his own typeface and applied it on paper using a letter press. Using a milling machine, the letter press, etc. It was pretty cool (i'd never have the patience to mess around with the stuff). - danj484, on 03/13/2009, -1/+1I don't care a whole lot about fancy fonts, but even I hate Arial.
- dextermanas, on 03/14/2009, -1/+0Or you could use Opera 10, which has been around for quite some time, which supports web fonts.
- inactive, on 03/13/2009, -2/+1"Too many fonts that are too garish is the mark of a novice."
Exactly. That's why professional typographers and designers prefer to stick with a winner, usually Arial. - inactive, on 03/13/2009, -9/+3Blogs about typography are a waste of time. Why would anyone use anything other than Arial? It's the the best typeface ever, and there's really nothing that can even hold a candle to it's elegance and usability.
