The one who used the egg beaters was easy to tell, the shading was banded like it was shaded using integer and not floating point. The teacup looked fake to begin with along with the fact the company LOGO was on it. And then there were the diamonds, they had to be fake, because I doubt they would of gotten their hands on real diamonds.

  • ultimate_ed, on 10/12/2007, -0/+07/10. I too, blew it on the beamer. I called all the other CGI's correct, but there were a couple of "real" ones that I thought looked CGI.

    Now, why on earth would you want to waste that kind of effort taking a picture of something real to make it look like it was CGI????

They have a LONG way to go before they can make Computer Generated pictures to look Real... too easy, although the Car in the first picture was a bit tricky, but the background gave it away.

    Actually if you look at it, it is the second one. New one just came out on 3december.

    almost fell for the diamonds, but for the shadows to be real,some of them would have to be balanced on their edges...
    man, cars made from CG are really getting good though...

Everybody who fell for the car has been looking at too many car commercials. I could tell which ones were real (but looked fake) because I spend a lot of time behind the viewfinder trying to catch shots just like that.
