- rebopper, on 10/11/2007, -0/+49I wonder which browser logo turned into wallpaper defines me as a person, hmmm....
- nullx42, on 10/11/2007, -6/+49Dugg for having "firefox" in title
- Paranoidmarvin, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2980 diggs and it's down.
Is it me, or is the internet gradually crumbling into rubble, thanks to the cumulative erosion of hundreds of thousands of Diggers? - kahlessreborn, on 10/11/2007, -3/+31OMG that would be a great claim for a hosting service, "Digg Proof"
- Raian, on 10/11/2007, -3/+29I prefer my Microsoft-Word desktop background.
- SteveMax, on 10/11/2007, -0/+23"Digg Proof"
That wouldn't work at all. It sounds too much like a challenge, five minutes after the host became active there would be a 5000+ digg story on "this host thinks it can survive a digg, let's show them!" - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+18osarhan,
yes, it is actually definitely literally the combined traffic.
the internet is a series of tubes, you see... - rstarr, on 10/11/2007, -2/+17They dont call it the digg effect for nothing...
Although personally I think we should change it to "Diggeld."
And we should change the name of crack to crackle, I mean more people would do it, but a crackle head sounds like a fun guy comparatively.
Euphemisms ftw. - soupir, on 10/11/2007, -2/+15We salute and admire your refusal to advertise a free, open-source browser on your popular, highly-viewed desktop.
- MikiMac, on 10/11/2007, -3/+15oops how do i delete a post? made a duplicate.
digg this one down please. - ohstoopid1, on 10/11/2007, -0/+12Serious tube cloggage
- evilTak, on 10/11/2007, -0/+11...and it's down.
- GorGenator, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8Wow, you don't honestly think its Firefox thats causing those sites to not load do you?
- PdxPhoenix, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8@fischman (#6720481)
correction perhaps?... why would you want _someone else's_ corporate logo as a wallpaper.
If I had a corporate, all the computers would have the corporate logo as wallpaper & as screensaver.
It's all about marketing & branding... - kleedrac, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8So which browser do you use? I'm not so much pro-firefox (though it is my personal browser of choice) as I am anti-IE. People who use the lowest common denominator piss me off :)
- bearvsshawn, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8It's a play off of a quote from "Fight Club".
- Irco, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5http://xkcd.com/c198.html
._. - ThrobbingBrain, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5That comment has nothing to do with anything, but it was great.
Thanks.
P.S. Cheer up emo kid. - SPThom, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5Don't mean to spam, but here's one I made up for a dual-screen setup. Works great with typical Dell flat-panels (~0.75" bezel), each running 1280x1024
http://thomshouse.net.nyud.net:8080/misc/fx1.jpg - OutcastJiob, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4That's either idiocy or a really awesome use of sarcasm.
- stalefries, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3I kept on waiting for it to load, and then I figured it out.
- iSeven, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4simply classic. that quote will never get old.
- drewskyjones, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4Dugg your comment for the Sen Stevens reference...I'll never get over the complete incompetence he displayed with his tubes speech. It made me laugh and it made me cry that such a moron is "helping" run our country.
- MikiMac, on 10/11/2007, -2/+5hmm..maybe we should digg RIAA web site, I wonder if we can take it down :)
- nickgarvey, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3If you did one of two things you wouldn't have posted that dumb comment.
1. Thought about what a "firefox wallpaper" might actually mean.
2. Clicked the link.
- munkyxtc, on 10/11/2007, -4/+6wow, that didn't take long... anyone have a mirror?
- dengar69, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Thanks....very nice wallpaper.
- Langford, on 10/11/2007, -4/+5I like Firefox, and I guess the wallpapers are nice enough, but I don't really want to advertise anything on my desktop.
- oliwa, on 10/11/2007, -4/+5I love how Digg users cause sites to crash...awesome!
- dbr_onix, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1http://technology.desktopnexus.com.nyud.net:8080/cat/firefox/
Nearly working mirror, the page shows up but you need to manually add the .nyud.net:8080 part of the URL if you want to view the larger version, and it's being extremely slow to the point where it's unusable currently.. - terminalcode, on 07/31/2008, -0/+1Pretty nice collection....
Peace~ - jamesong14, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Nice collection !! http://artboxs.com/
- koach, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Ugh...embarrassed to say this, but...i cant seem to get it to work with Vista. Do I have to run it in Tiled mode? Centered? I have 2 LCD's at 1280x1024 (running extended desktop with #1 on left and #2 on the right). Thanks for any advice...love the wallpaper.
- sljaxon, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Well, nobody will ever need more than 640k of RAM.
- noliberalbull, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2working for me... just veeeeery slowly
- Jenovaside, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2no, its the /. effect, even ask wikipedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digg_effect
lol no respect, digg kills servers so much faster then any other site I have seen. (and dam proud of it) - geoffreyireland, on 10/11/2007, -7/+7http://technology.desktopnexus.com/wallpaper/7278/
Best one there. - joeblackNY, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Nice collections #2: http://desktoppimper.com/
- hmaugans, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1Meh, great site though. Bookmark it and check back later.
- osarhan, on 10/11/2007, -5/+3i'm a bit cnfused how this happens, is it actually just literally the combined traffic from all digg users going there?
- hmaugans, on 10/11/2007, -4/+2http://www.duggmirror.com maybe?
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -4/+1i get alot of backgrounds from art.gnome.org
and from that one nasa fan site that posts satalite images and stuff - kestrel127, on 10/11/2007, -9/+2Is this one offered in 1600x1200?

- bobangitanov2, on 10/11/2007, -13/+6rebopper is either sarcastic or an indifferent mac user :D
- opivy224, on 10/11/2007, -16/+8I wish my grass was emo so it would cut itself.
- Paranoidmarvin, on 10/11/2007, -12/+3oops, hit the wrong reply
- Apreche, on 10/11/2007, -13/+4 Why would I promote Firefox by using a wallpaper containing its logo? It's so bad it can't even load half the websites that make the front page of Digg. I just keep getting errors about timeouts and such.
- jrbrewin, on 10/11/2007, -14/+1marked as spam, so minus me.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -21/+2There's desktops in Firefox? Well that's useless. More feature bloat = more resource usage. I use Opera because it's just a browser. (Ok, Opera's guilty of feature bloat too, but it doesn't use 50MB with one blank tab).
- iascoot, on 10/11/2007, -22/+2OMGZ!!!
thank you now i can set my wallpaper and home and work to match my favourite browser....FIREFOX OF COURSE
cant talk here tho, i have to goto all my forums and tell people to download FIREFOX!!!
YAY FOR FIREFOX...
/end sarcasm.
all this firefox hype is *****., ill use whatever browser im comfortable with, the more people go on about firefox, the more i dislike it

What is Digg?
The Digg Toolbar for Firefox lets you Digg, submit content, and keep track of Digg even when you're not on the Digg site. Download the official
