Observation is tainted, because people act different knowing there are other watching and reacting to them. People are social creatures. We don't do things just because we are wired a certain way, but do things in a way so that other individuals will see a certain image of us. Peer pressure. I'm trying to write this comment and not sound like an idiot for fear of negative comments and negative Diggs, and this is just a comment.

Putting aside that we all see ourselves through the reflection of others, my question was more about maintaining your writing style for your larger audience vs. modifying it to cater only to the readers who comment. Yes, I agree that we are social creatures craving validation, which is one of the reasons why blogs are so popular. And no, you don't sound like an idiot.
