- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+17There should be a "Digg for Bitches" section. This would be the perfect first story.
Next.. "Beginners Guide to Window Dressings Tutorial" and "Selecting the Right Candle for your Bathroom". - kingfoot, on 10/12/2007, -4/+11it doesnt seem so great to me. idk, just seems still boring and time consuming is all.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7If it takes you 20 minutes to do this, you are retarded.
Now let's have the 45 minute tutorial on how to click the start button on your PC - Pests, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I, for some reason, assumed this was a photoshop tutorial at first...
- EtherGnat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I used this technique (using several layers) on a wedding photo as a gift for my wife about a year ago. Be forewarned that it's quite time consuming, and make sure you have a very sharp Xacto knife. If you can find thinner foam core that is a plus as well.
You could make your life easier by skipping the foam core for the front layers and printing on heavy photo paper. Then use foam dots to separate your front layer(s) from the background. Make sure you use a printing method that won't quickly fade, too (also try and display out of direct sunlight, etc.). The first one of these I did was garbage in less than a year. - herrshuster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Note to digg: block and ban users that have the pattern: 1*00 in their name
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I have to ask. What is he is linking to? I am afraid to click.
- GiJoeBob, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Now what did I do with the photo of me with the Hooters girls? THAT'S a photo that could benefit from the 3D treatment.
- huetube, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2ready, set, BLOCKED!!!
- aquadoctorbob, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2You missed.
http://digg.com/television/LOST_and_HEROES_are_connected_after_last_night - edm1950, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I think they're going to coat the backs of their characters with flooring foam in an attempt to make them appear more 3 dimensional.
- patrickchee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1great stuff- it is unfortunate that some people can't appreciate that some people like to share creative ideas. keep up the great photo ideas over there at photojojo. does everyone have to just dis everything- come on- is this the kinda community you want?
- Pests, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Its a site where you get money by getting people to view your uploaded images.
The link above is a picture of a cat. - richardiscool, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1edm, that's the funniest comment I've ever seen on Digg. I laughed out loud for about 5 minutes.
- GoblinCock, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1... featuring Zach Klein from Vimeo!
Very cool and crafty tutorial. Will make a great addition to my office. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Welcome to Digg, where the combined memory capacity exists over the duration of 5 minutes.
- snowrider221, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I'm pretty sure this has been dugg before... or at least something similar.
still cool effect though :) - boattyman, on 08/17/2008, -0/+0Maybe you want to check this out - Style photo into Vector Art, or Manga Character - http://www.Phokki.com
- Darklighter, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2I agree, I don't think this is a very cool project. If I was going to do something like this, this is what I would do:
1.) In Photoshop, separate the people and the background into 2 separate pictures.
2.) Enlarge the people maybe 5%
3.) Apply an inner glow to the cutout (to make the people "pop" a little more)
This would look a little cooler and a litte more realistic (IMHO) - edm1950, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0*****, now we gots Martha Stewart groupies joining.
- Nickboxer7, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Ok, I realize it's still possible, but
Isn't Heroes an NBC show, and LOST an ABC? Wouldnt that put a little conflict between the shows, because ABC wants you to watch their station and NBC want you to watch theirs?
I dont think they are connected. They may be messing with you for fun though. - nickgray, on 10/12/2007, -7/+4Another cool tutorial from Photojojo. Thanks Amit.
- herrshuster, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1Yes there was, but I'm still digging you down because this isn't about photoshop
- smokel, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1Fantastic.
- crxnamja, on 10/12/2007, -6/+2Really great tutorial. Flipping shweet!
- sishgupta, on 10/12/2007, -7/+2This will make for some very cool birthday cards.
PS. nice name amit - gambl0r, on 10/12/2007, -7/+2This is an awesome idea!
- Kamill85, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1As seen on TV
- soccerkidjp, on 10/12/2007, -10/+1Wasn't there a post on digg before about how to do this kind of thing with photoshop as well?
