- M0b1u5, on 10/12/2007, -3/+317That TV "stand" is phenomenal.
Shame the rest of the furniture looks like your grandmother's old crap. - Ransomowris, on 10/12/2007, -4/+215A) Kickass TV that rotates from under the bed.
or
B) The ability to jump on my bed, and have sex on it.
Oh man, this is a tough one... - Zinite, on 10/12/2007, -5/+158Digg needs a video section! Oh wait...
- coollettuce, on 10/12/2007, -2/+118I wish there was a place on digg for videos.
Oh wait... - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -11/+107Wow, he must be getting *all* the pussy!
- redrover, on 10/12/2007, -3/+98It's the element of surprise.
You think: this guy is a total loser. Then the TV appears and you're glad you didn't say that out loud. - roominator, on 10/12/2007, -0/+86I would piss myself in fear if this thing popped out in the middle of the night by my bedside.
- oskite, on 10/12/2007, -6/+92EVAR.
Now it doesn't. - DevastatorIIC, on 10/12/2007, -4/+74Holy *****, this would scare the ***** out of me if it malfunctioned and I saw something rising from the foot of my bed.
- Goldsac, on 10/12/2007, -1/+69Agreed. Definitely wasn't expecting such a futuristic contraption in that otherwise plain room
- catfish182, on 10/12/2007, -3/+65There is a video section on Digg?!?!
that is insane enough to work. - Slashriffs, on 10/12/2007, -3/+61@walkingdogs
yeah your right
heres a better video that shows how slow it is
http://www.mk1studio.com/www.mk1studio.com/Underbed%20Video.html - ziki, on 10/12/2007, -2/+53I'm guessing they hide the TV so that the other furniture doesn't get jealous.
- walkingdogs, on 10/12/2007, -3/+53this video is also sped up about 3x normal speed. cool tv stand but takes about a minute or longer to actually come all the way out so the video is kind of inaccurate.
- sirpsychosexy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+50looks like a good way to get the cat out from under the bed when it's time to go to the vet
- Boing, on 10/12/2007, -13/+57EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER
Nope, still looks stupid. Stop doing it. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -6/+43neat... too bad it's in such an ugly-ass bedroom.
- tonich03, on 10/12/2007, -2/+38No! It's not for porn! It's for..em.. stock market!
- tizz66, on 10/12/2007, -0/+36Personally I don't see the problem with putting a TV on the wall like everyone else, but pretty cool in terms of technology I suppose.
- dbz253, on 10/12/2007, -0/+34@redrover
You think: this guy is a total loser. Then the TV appears and you're positive. - racinghart07, on 10/12/2007, -1/+33http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jujsn9wunyg
- spookyttws, on 10/12/2007, -3/+34Pretty damn cool, I have something similar except it doesn't come from under the bed, my tv isn't a flat screen, oh and i can store things in it. I think it's called a set of drawers.
- Aliarse, on 10/12/2007, -0/+30Great idea.
Until you get a bit rough with the other half and break the bed, bye bye expensive TV. - greenlight2001, on 10/12/2007, -0/+26This is going to seem like a great idea.... until you come home one day and the kids are riding it up and down like an elevator... mark my word, your kids will ride it.
- N1NJ4hippie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+22If he put this in the video section it would be lost in the sea of Family Guy clips. I mean seriously the last time I went to the video section the most diggs a video had was about 800.
- dusingaz, on 10/12/2007, -2/+20anyone know where to get this?
- M1ndless, on 10/12/2007, -7/+24Biggest waste of money EVER
- retral, on 10/12/2007, -1/+17I can only imagine it picking up a bunch of dust via static-cling when it's down under the bed.
- johnnyrotten, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16You're kidding, right? It's a demo video to show you the capabilities of the device. Sheesh!
- anitab83, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16MK1 Studio makes this TV stand. Surround sound speakers and sub are mounted under the bed, which apparently creates an incredible viewing experience.
Here's the product page, you'll probably need to e-mail them to get a quote:

Oh man, this is a tough one..."
Well I would assume that if someone was going to get something so elaborate built under their bed, steps would be taken to make sure you couldn't crush the whole setup by simply jumping on your bed... or Olympic gymnast routines while having sex like you seem to be doing. - Ocelot13, on 10/12/2007, -2/+16i do believe the coolest would be like the 103" plasma....but thats just me
- Ender17, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13I don't know about plasmas, but why would a LCD set need to be kept vertical?
It's the same technology as laptop screens. - gamebittk, on 10/12/2007, -10/+23@drathosx3
No, silly! He's a Digg user! - bariswheel, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13Bad idea. Especially if you have trouble sleeping. All I do in my bed is sleep (ahem [*straightens tie*], and yes there is 1 exception to this); so if I lie down on my bed, even during midday, I will go to sleep. Most people who have trouble sleeping do homework, watch tv, read, etc.. on their beds. If you wire your mind correctly your sleeping problems will go away. Don't take my word for it, try it.
- superyounan1, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12i thought you're never supposed to lay flat tvs horizontally... or is that only for plasmas?
- tizz66, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12*sniff sniff* What's that smell?
Oh, I know what it is. - nihility, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10You can follow that link to http://www.mk1studio.com/www.mk1studio.com/F.A.Q._files/MK1-Retail.pdf where they show the prices.
A little under $10,000 for the setup, and that's just for 40" and under. Seems a little expensive. - kriegs, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11Great until kids come running into the room and jump on the bed.
- SillyRabbits, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10Agreed, I'm not sure I'd really want to watch that 60" screen from 5' away either. I'd much rather have it on the wall.
- maehem, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10HDTVs make great computer monitors.
- anagoge, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11Other half?
I guess most diggers will be fine then. - nuggetz, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10Reminds me of a garbage truck, and so does the awful decor :-)
- therealmrpinks, on 10/12/2007, -4/+12its not actually that fast, the videos sped up, its actually pretty slow.
- PenguinWrangler, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Anyone know why You Tube yanked this one??
- cookiebearo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9two tries and you still didn't make a good post
bummer - psplayer6, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9The video was spead up.
http://www.mk1studio.com/www.mk1studio.com/Underbed%20Video.html - ManOfCube, on 10/12/2007, -13/+20I worked at a small mom and pop TV store that sold stands like this. Generally our customers would buy this ***** so they could keep whatever "authentic" look that their furnishings had.
It amazes me that people want to own big TVs but don't want to make them a part of their furniture collection, but since our culture is obsessed with having "cultured" (ie plain and boring) surroundings I'm not surprised. - themoose, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wGqAPdD_E0
