- tomboy501, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8This website's 15 minutes of fame: If you can't set a good example...at least you can serve as a horrible warning
- Lorian, on 10/12/2007, -3/+10"they must have used notepad"
You say that like it's a bad thing...?
I agree, Notepad sucks, but at least if you use it you're writing HTML, not that ***** that Word dumps out. - dnthomps, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5This website is made in Word. View Source to see things like word count, author, and more.

it fell from the ugly tree and hit every branch.
it got struck by the ugly lightning.
it got hit by the ugly bus.
it got stabbed by the ugly sword.
Somebody had to start it off. . . . - titlesaysitall, on 10/12/2007, -5/+9Myspace has a contendor.

You guys are fools. There is ABSOLUTLY nothing you can do in any other program that you can not do in Notepad.
WYSIWYG isn't the only answer. If you actually learn how to code, you don't need Dreamweaver. - biffta, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Thing is now he has been digged, he's going to think his site is doing really well!
- HelplessSEAL, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3It seems that everything is "HOT!", including a generic usb headset. Are people really buying from this website?
- Beelzebub, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3My eyes...the goggles do nothing!

Dude, if someone says that Notepad sucks, doesn't mean he automatically prefers a WYSIWYG editor... doh!
The point is that Notepad is a piece of crap.
There are tons of professionals code editors (read: NOT wysiwyg!) that keep your code much more clear and organized and allow for faster editing. Take a day off to look for one, because you're actually the one who is a fool by using Notepad... - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5If you want to see an ugly site just go to myspace.com/. You'll find flashy text, animated sparkling GIFs, unreadable text, and an random javascript. Complete with pics of idiots in the mirror trying to make themselves not look like the fat asses that they really are.
- spaceman_spiff, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3To be fair, their prices are sensational for Australia, and one of my staff shops there regularly-it's only 10 minutes from our offices. It's just that I can't find anything on their web site without throwing up...
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Me too. They have some of the best prices in Australia imo. Their main page and prices lisnt isn't really *that* bad. I've never had any trouble navigating it and finding what I want. I like to think they are just focusing their efforts on providing the best deals rather than writing flashy navigation elements for their site, but they're probably just lazy :P
- vjsai, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2pffftttt! it's nothing compared to this website for a children's hospital in Japan :
http://www.aiseikai.or.jp/
(it's not a mental hospital. regular hospital.) - Lorian, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4@dnthomps: Uh? What about syntax highlighting, automatic indentation etc. I code by hand, Notepad is just not the tool for it.
- Feifei, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Yes! I go to that shop in Australia.
Must say there website is shocking, appearing they've spent all their web development money on making their product cheaper.
Otherwise pretty decent store. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I thought I sucked at designing Web pages, but this one is seriously messed up!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2If you view this page with a text-only browser, it'd probably be the most compatible one out there.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I think so many things are highlighted because the designer just learned how to do that a few minutes before he started working on that page.
- swimmingbird67, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2that site is so "HOT" right now.
- joshink, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Looks like this guy was inspired by eBay. He'd be a great seller because he put "HOT" after every item on his chart. Poor dude.
- nreynolds, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I think they could make that site stand out by highlighting things in different colors, and making each block of text a different size and width. That way, it'd be so hard to understand everyone would HAVE to read it.
Oh wait.... - jechasteen, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Does "HOT" mean the item is stolen?
- oxide7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1i sent him an email telling him its the worst thing ive ever seen in my whole life
- osbjmg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1http://autolumination.com/ is pretty bad too, but I order from them still :)
- jasonprussell, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3Um, so what makes this site from the 9,921,231 other ones just like it?
- Lorian, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I dunno about you, but it seems pretty crappy in text only browser as well.
http://img64.imageshack.us/img64/9120/lynxxd0.png - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Web 0.01 ?
- davotoula, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0But all that text-only is holding up nicely against the digg crowd!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Snip the URL a bit and you get this, a directory of more ugly pages (though I have yet to find one as ugly as the original link):
http://msy.com.au/Parts/ - acedanger, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1how did you make your version of windows look like that?? that's hella cool
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Well, the prices on many of the items are pretty good (remember its Australian pricing, not US), however my eyes started to bleed about 25 seconds after loading that page so I won't be able to make use of anything they sell.
By 'HOT' I'm guessing it means they fell off the back of a truck! - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Just tell me that it is not a real website.. it is a prank.. isn't it?
It creeps me out! - getnom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That's pretty awful, but I think this one may have it beat:
http://fastlaner.com/
Ass-nasty design complimented by some of the finest Engrish this side of the Pacific. - alexdelarge, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Even though I agree this is absolutely horrendous, at least he tried.
Meanwhile the voice in my head says, "Yes, keep telling yourself that," as I huddle in the corner in the fetal position yelling "Mommy, please make it stop."
And as far as the japanese site, I hope anyone who has seizures stays far away. - subversivepinko, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0...
Please tell me that was just poorly-executed sarcasm. - QuantaS, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1It hurts my eyes! Make it stop! Make it go awayyyy!
- subversivepinko, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Screenshots of the beast in various browswers (text-based and otherwise):
http://acm.wwu.edu/~bensonk/ugly_site/ - acoot, on 10/12/2007, -9/+2I will never visit that site again. they must have used notepad
