- supermajic, on 05/27/2008, -0/+7He did it for the lulz.
- LadyA, on 05/15/2008, -1/+6What's your objection to this? It's very useful to have a direct link if you don't want to get spammed by stuff you don't want. SitePoint should have been smarter and taken this into account if they didn't want people to just go straight for the download. I'm well aware that you can opt to receive nothing, but my email address is important to me. That's why I use bugmenot.com. Circumvent away Erik. I'm grateful at least.
- pandaking, on 05/23/2008, -0/+4Well that's just bloody stupid, ever heard of sarcasm?
He was a joking, and if people don't realise that then perhaps they shouldn't be allowed to get cool stuff like this ebook... - LadyA, on 05/15/2008, -1/+4Well bugger me. You got any proof?
- clompers, on 05/22/2008, -1/+3Another demonstration of how easy it is to manipulate people with terror tactics, whether the statement is true or not.
- slapout, on 05/16/2008, -0/+2I guess it depends on how you define catch. Most books don't have ads on the footer of every page.
I think it's a fair trade--the ads aren't annoying and I get a free book. - ShayneTilley, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1I'd like to see the digg effect take down amazon's ec2, not sure it will happen though
- ssatish88, on 05/28/2008, -0/+1I really dunno what you're talking about bro....I got my book nice and clean.
- slapout, on 05/15/2008, -1/+2They emailed me a link to the file. I didn't see any program reporting back to Adobe.
- books3579, on 05/15/2008, -1/+3I've found the other SitePoint books I've used to be quite good, so this is an unbelievable offer!
- paulannesley, on 05/16/2008, -1/+2Hah. That's quite an imagination.
- TutorialJunkie, on 06/01/2008, -0/+1Thanks Erik, I didn't receive my download link so this is a great help!
- alvinhop, on 05/15/2008, -1/+2great gift by them!
- ssatish88, on 05/28/2008, -0/+1Who cares?? The book is awesome!
- 2brother, on 05/15/2008, -1/+2Really big offer by SitePoint...
- Outsanity, on 05/17/2008, -1/+2you need to put your bong down, buddy
- slapout, on 05/15/2008, -1/+2BTW the catch seems to be that the book contains ads for 99designs.com
- CarnivalOfDust, on 05/27/2008, -1/+2Quality trolling.
- BabyWookie, on 05/27/2008, -0/+1You are such an obvious site plant, that it's not even funny.
- BabyWookie, on 05/27/2008, -0/+1LOL. Another plant.
- tammyhart, on 05/23/2008, -1/+1SitePoint Books are awesome, so i'm glad to get my hands on this one. I'd love to have the real thing, but this is way more budget friendly!
- byronadams, on 05/22/2008, -3/+3douche. http://www.sitepoint.com/blogs/2008/05/22/how-digg ...
- rgp8, on 05/15/2008, -1/+1I agree, they are well written for beginners and experienced users alike. I've been after a decent Photoshop book for a while, this seems to fit the bill perfectly.
- eleete, on 05/15/2008, -1/+1I love their books, I have several, I also watch their videos on Lynda.com T ya sitepoint !
- tripps, on 05/15/2008, -1/+1SitePoint books I've purchased in the past are very easy to plow through and come away with a clear understanding of concepts like CSS. Kudos to them for offering this PDF up for free.
- jsams81, on 06/26/2009, -5/+5ITS A TRAP, when I downloaded it my computer caught on fire and the RIAA showed up at my front door. It sucked.
- Eriksrocks, on 05/15/2008, -2/+2Get it before the digg effect starts eating away at their servers.
- kjc5050, on 05/24/2008, -1/+1Looks to be an outstanding deal - thanks.
- mom2twinsplus1, on 06/02/2008, -0/+0If you are a Photoshop fan, this free e-book is a great opportunity! Get it before it's gone!!
- carloszun, on 05/30/2008, -0/+0> Save your email address.

- dianado, on 05/30/2008, -0/+0Such great great resources - thanks for making this information available to more people - the forums have also been very helpful! I look forward to continuing to learn Photoshop....thanks so much!
- pandaking, on 05/24/2008, -2/+1Fast download of the "high resolution version" on MedaFire:
http://www.mediafire.com/?zs0wmvmzdox
It took me far to long to download it off sitepoint , digg effect in progress I guess... - YourAuctionNews, on 05/21/2008, -1/+0I have to say I have bought several site point products and have been very pleased. So getting this one for free is a sweet deal. I'm still waiting to get the links so I can lokk at it. So I can't say weather it's as good as the other products I bought.
But as my motto, "If it's free. It's for me!" - Seether1975, on 05/25/2008, -1/+0Excellent freebie, i have bought all their kits and a few books and all of them are high quality stuff
- paulannesley, on 05/16/2008, -1/+0It does contain ads for 99designs, the sponsor of the free PDF download, but I'm not sure I'd call that a catch.
- dlcmh, on 05/16/2008, -2/+0Tons of stuff in there - I'm impressed!
I've screen captures of the Table of Contents at http://www.fromthebackroom.com/web-design-photosho ... - sputza, on 05/15/2008, -5/+4Don't be a dick.
- luke16, on 05/15/2008, -19/+8It's a trap. When you download it runs a validation check to see if you are running a pirated version of photoshop. Which then logs your ip back to Adobe HQ who then mark the ip address in the automated billing system. You will recieve a fine for $500 in the next 2 to 5 working days. Congratulations
