One mistake they made was hiding cascade, inheritance, and specificity in the "advanced" section and then saying those mechanisms are rarely used. It's been a long time since I did css for a site that didn't rely on cascade, inheritance, and specificity.
But, I also think you can't learn css effectively without knowing the markup first. Think of (X)HTML or whatever as a house: foundation, floor, walls, and roof. CSS is the paint, siding, light/bathroom fixtures, carpet, and furniture. - r00t3d0ut, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Excellent find! Thanx!
