How do you walk around with such a large penis size? - BeyondGoodNEvil, on 10/11/2007, -13/+2"I grabbed your Mother immediately; she suits my 30" excellent."
Are you saying you grabbed fantafanta's mother quickly, and that she suits your 30 inch dick? Am I interpreting that right, or is my mind in the gutter again? - haxx4, on 10/11/2007, -2/+13"How do you walk around with such a large penis size?"
He doesn't, that's why he's on Digg lying on a hospice bed with a laptop on his stomach. - jvnane, on 10/11/2007, -7/+1@haxx4
WHAT!?!?! You don't believe that this guy has a 30 inch dick! I believe it for sure! - joach, on 10/11/2007, -4/+2List of the best sites offering widescreen wallpapers: http://www.wallpaperreview.com/widescreen.html
- nipterink, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2the mother earth one is pretty boring actually... i prefer the blueberries. it adds life to my desktop.
- DiggLord, on 10/17/2007, -22/+345I grabbed your Mother immediately; she suits my 30" excellent.
- pusle, on 10/11/2007, -14/+7Dude that is just amazing! These are some of the best wallpapers I have seen. And for free! As someone said in the comments on the Crestock post, I am flabbergasted! :) Purely fantastic photos. So thanks to the photographers who said OK to give them away for free as wallpapers. Now then.. which one to use today?
- dmoney06, on 10/11/2007, -8/+6some of them are great sure, but some are extremely mediocre. the winter snowshoeing one is ridiculously boring and not nice to look at for example
- taxonimous, on 10/11/2007, -8/+15Awww, my kids will LOVE the Mongoose =)
- DiggLord, on 11/01/2007, -57/+7Your kids will LOVE my Mongoose =)
*sorry i just couldn't resist! - Godlesswanderer, on 10/11/2007, -13/+7Damn, I hate clicking the digg up button when I meant to click the digg down button. Since I've wasted my digg... Digglord, you suck.
- jtablerd, on 10/11/2007, -10/+3the mongoose was saved the moment i saw it. they usually eat snakes so they shouldn't have much trouble with worms...putting him on my windows box and disabling the hugely secure Windows Firewall [tm] to let this happy mongoose take care of my computer from now on.
speaking of microsoft (& mongeese), i'd have taken a mongoose over Clippy any day! - Darcy, on 10/11/2007, -10/+3Digglord, if you think that comments funny, I think you need to find professional help.
- heliox, on 10/11/2007, -6/+2try harder next time.

- rerojoha, on 10/11/2007, -9/+6I love the winter picture! It's too hot where I am now, and I can dream about winter when I see it.

- lowter, on 10/13/2007, -1/+47They need 1680*1050. :-(
- aurrea, on 10/13/2007, -7/+5I think it's more reasonable to ask for 2560x1024. WTF?
- ryanschmidt, on 10/13/2007, -4/+3@lowter (#7291513)
I agree :( - po43292, on 10/11/2007, -2/+29http://interfacelift.com/wallpaper/index.php?sort=date&w=1680&h=1050
Problem solved. No login, no fees, awesome. - itsme92, on 10/13/2007, -2/+29@lida
Some of us aren't made of money, and buying a $200 1680x1050 display seemed like a better deal than a $700 1920x1200 display - bryceman111, on 10/11/2007, -5/+4@lowter
Who needs that resolution when these are so awesome, amazing, AND incredible?!!!????!!!??!?!?!?!?
/certainly no sarcasm there
/sarcasm - 0owh0r5xzs, on 10/11/2007, -4/+1@llda
Enjoy your AIDS. - themoose, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7They need 1280x1024 :(
- uselesstosser, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0Why no 1280x1024 the most common resolution in 17" and 19" LCD monitors, we all don't have those fancy shiny loverly 30inchers you know. Yes we would all like a couple of more inches (my wife just agreed for some reason!)
- nipterink, on 10/13/2007, -1/+2you don't need 1680x1050... that's still a 16:10 ratio.
just get the next largest size (1920x1200) and you can scale it down maintaining the proper aspect ratio.
- opusaz, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6I've got a honkin' big Hubble pic of the sombrero galaxy on my dual monitors. Whenever my boss comes in and starts his mindless rambling, I can look into the other tiny galaxies in the distance and all his idiocy fades into the background. Best productivity tool on my computer right now.

- mrsteve007, on 10/11/2007, -3/+5I really wish there were more (if any) desktops for dual 24" screens. I have to capture and make my own 3840 x 1200 images. Here's the one I'm using right now: http://www.jbdg.com/images/steve/plantback.jpg (warning 1.5 meg image) These are macro images of plants at my office.
For whatever reason, Vista displays the right image on the left screen & visa-versa. That's why they're reversed.- vroom101, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4@mrsteve007, how do you go about making the 3840 x 1200 images?
- mrsteve007, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2To make one 3840 x 1200 image, take two 1920 x 1200 images that are similar and photoshop them together, or just leave a line at the centerpoint that wont show on either monitor for two separate images; like my above posted image.
- vroom101, on 10/11/2007, -3/+9Can this be done with The GIMP ( http://www.gimp.org/ )?
- angle45media, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1dual 24" screens! *squinting at my screen* I'm jealous =)
- AirwavesV2, on 10/11/2007, -1/+16This site is even better. It was posted way back but you dont have to pay for the images.
http://interfacelift.com/wallpaper/- grendel, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2you mean that's not the same link posted above?
- ijustam, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5If you're an multimonitor digger such as myself you'll appreciate Wikimedia's collection of images. There are some obnoxiously high-resolution pictures on Wikimedia.
There was an article on Digg called "The Worlds Biggest Digger" which linked to Wikimedia's stock photo of the Bagger 288: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Bagger-garzweiler.jpg which is 5075 × 1490.
Not to take any focus away from the article in question, just an extra reference for multimonitor/ultrawidescreen monitors. - windy5883, on 10/11/2007, -1/+13Dugg down for use of "amazing"
- tomarocco, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Awesome observation!!!

He has some impressive wallpapers, and some of the best storm pictures I've ever seen - ShavedRegressor, on 10/11/2007, -4/+0The images are pretty, but are also badly oversaturated.
They look better if you use Photoshop to reduce the saturation by 20 or so. - m0d3s7m1k3, on 10/11/2007, -0/+24No 1280x1024?
- ShadowKlown, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1That's what i was thinking o_0, they've got 1280x960, which is painfully ugly when I switched to it a min ago to see the difference.
- MedHead, on 10/11/2007, -3/+11280x960 (and 640x480, 800x600, 1280x1024, and 1600x1200) all are of the 4:3 aspect ratio, which often matches that of a standard-sized monitor. An image (well, actually, everything displayed) not only often looks better at the monitor's aspect ratio (as the image doesn't need to be stretched to fit into the available monitor space), but it also allows for easy size conversions to different resolutions, such as those mentioned earlier, without having to deal with cropping.
- Lowspirit, on 10/11/2007, -0/+12The one that caught my eye was the industrial smog one, who wouldn't want that on their desktop, gives you that cozy dead and hopeless feeling inside.
- TheBigBentley, on 10/11/2007, -6/+1This is kinda lame. There's a million sites out there with free wallpapers. Ever heard of Deviantart? I cant even believe this got over 900 diggs!
- superdoug, on 10/11/2007, -4/+3Just great, now that this is on Digg, the server will go down.
Thanks a lot!
Made with Adobe® Photoshop® Software - cbabraham, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4Dugg down for not being that great.

- hmaugans, on 10/11/2007, -4/+2Also check http://www.desktopnexus.com :)
- beenieman, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1i agree with windy5883 the word "amazing" is used too much on digg, time to retire it.
- internetslacker, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2The yellow mongoose desktop is great, although now I feel like my computer is staring at me all the time.
- akatherder, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7I usually don't resort to profanity, but that mongoose infuriates me. ***** you mongoose.
- tformed, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2neat
- everfalling, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2does anyone have a good site for dual display wallpapers? i've got two wide screen monitors i wanna stretch something across
- nud0, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1How does this mediocre website make digg and interfacelife wallpaper website doesn't? Here is a better "amazing" wide screen wallpaper website. Here ya go:

- anthonyk28, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I wanna thank every one of you for posting as many high-res photo links as possible. I need to try out my new 36" wide printer.
- diecastbeatdown, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1wow, these are some fantastically generic images. i'm not going to save them at all. were these the out takes from a stock photo session?
i have a 30" apple cinema display. yay! - f201, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1The one labeled "industrial smog" is actually water vapour. A+ for accuracy

- Urusai, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Does anybody have wallpaper that isnt: 1) hot chixx, 2) landscapes, 3) astronomy, 4) closeups of water or glass, 5) random swirlies? I'm just saying, there are other things which can be either photographically captured or designed and put on your desktop. My favorites right now include a tapestry, HAL 9000, and a nice repeating leaf pattern.
- spargett, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1*here goes my bandwidth*
I have some desktops that I made that you might like. They're all originals. You can view them though my Flickr account. There is a link to download each one (most are 2560x1600), which are hosted on my site. Enjoy.
