I 'm torn between the beautiful and obviously time consuming work involved, and the fact that someone has an unhealthy obsession with balls.- stui, on 10/12/2007, -5/+14I have an unhealthy obsession with my balls.

- chris9902, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7*sigh* just one more thing in life I can't do.
- Aliarse, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Might actually give it a go myself. Im not very good (ok, im crap.) but this looks like a fun project.
- BlackCow, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6I love how most of these were made on Windows XP. I know ill probably get dugg down but im learning how to do things in 3D modeling programs and it piss' me off when people say "omg yoooze a mac n00bie" Representing us windows fans who like to build our own computers with whatever processor we want for rendering!
- timxpx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6i had a 3d modeling class where a good number of the kids worked on macs. i used windows. our professor only used linux.
we all used blender3d.
so windows, mac, linux -- it didn't matter. the kids who were more technically/artistically apt had nicer projects. and in the end, we could all exchange *.blend files and render each others projects.

- Karmalary, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Cool - I'm glad to see they have a POV-Ray template. This'll make a nice diversion from the modelers.
- elektrohrmnx, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1But can we modify the grid plane?
- Karmalary, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4No, the grid (and the placement and radius of the sphere) must remain unchanged. Kind of like writing a sonnet - rigid framework, but what you say is up to you.

- Larke2000, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1is it required when posting that all gallery submissions have "amazing" or "incredible" in the title?
- dbr_onix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Well, if you insist - sure!
