No, Adam Sessler looks like a retarded Alton Brown. - clemonator, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3we have the power within us-hit the X to the left of that persons image and poof, they're gone.
As for AB. I think it's funny this even hit-I mean I LOVE AB however I didn't think to post it the day I noticed it had changed 2 weeks ago so for me this is old news but it's not about the news, it's about social digging.
I have met AB several times and he has always been a wonderful guy - I actually went to NFM's first store where he was demoing some GE products and the area was absolutely packed. I mean hundreds of people and he made it clear it would sign each persons book/whatever if they wanted to and am sure he was there for hours afterward - definitely knows he's only there because of the fan's.
He is why I bought a food processor, a mixer, and begged my mom for my grandma's iron skillet and am a better cook because of him. - dukem72, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I went to a book signing last year. He was taking questions from the public and someone asked "Alton, PC or Mac?"
His response was "If I had a boat I will take any pc and use it as an anchor for it, enough said".
Now you can imagine the laughs in the audience.
- Krusz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Good Eats is my favorite tv show of all time.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This is wonderful news. I love Alton Brown, he's one of three reasons left to watch Food network. He, Mario Batalli, and Michael Chiarello. Now Tony Bordain needs a podcast, hell the guy is always listening to an iPod on his show, he must know what a podcast is by now.
- tgiles, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I would happily listen to an AB podcast. A good buddy of mine at the NOC (has all his books, cooks like Julia Childs on speed) nearly had a stroke when he heard the news.
Yep. AB rocks. - hoodedrobin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Hey don't forget to torrent this too...
I hope its a video pod-cast cause that would be really effin cool. I could actually have media that I learn from.
On a second note I'm in culinary arts at Schoolcraft in Michigan *Notably has more master chefs than Culinary Institute of America* and I assure you this guy really knows his ***** even the chefs there are like yeah he actually teaches you about how the food works not just a recipe they have made a hundred times. - orian76, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I agree, he's like the perfect nerd chef.
- BugMeNot2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Alton Brown looks like Adam Sessler!
- Darthpip, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1ALTON BROWN PODCAST FTW! W00T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
- Cyberdactyl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Alton teaches you WHY you are cooking the way you are.
Everyone else are rote machines and have no real idea why. I've seen actually Emeril say several times something very similar to; "I don't know why, but it works." - etherdog, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1koolaidguy should have his IP address blocked. this exploit should have been communicated to digg through a backchannel. If he had, and they didn't respond, then he has a point, especially in light of the funding to digg.
- kimos, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I've always said that Alton Brown is my food-related hero...
- albel65, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Da shizznay!

- johaus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I might now actually have a reason to get a video ipod or PSP.

- ssvalenteno, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0He is the smartest, most commonsensical, most down to earth, best d@mn chef on that channel and I can’t wait to burn his podcast up. Wooohooo I can’t wait to tell my wife, not that she knows what a podcast is but loves his show, personality and his food. Every recipe of his I have followed has turned out spectacular!!

- sagedude, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I agree Alton is the man. His presentation style keeps my interest like no other cooking show.
- badnewsblair, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0First off, Alton Brown is so awesome. Good Eats has been Season Passed on my Tivo since I got it!
But yeah, I saw there were 600+ comments and knew it was that d-bag spamming, but I had already used the "X" on a previous post and I only see about 20 posts. Learn to use the digg features guys! It will become your friend - Laughingman234, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Helll yes!! AB is the shiiizit! I'd sooo watch that podcast or listen to it for that matter..
