- astrobela, on 11/30/2008, -2/+47Truly amazing, hard to imagine how accessible and easy video editing will become in the future.
- angrynorwegian, on 11/30/2008, -2/+42Videoshopped
- Games4Life, on 11/30/2008, -1/+21Aww come on! Let us have a demo version of it or something!
- Akumajin, on 11/30/2008, -4/+23I thought this was amazing. I always love to see what new stuff adobe is doing, and I am happy to see they are working hard at making premiere's advanced video editing much easier and faster to use.
- ahpro, on 11/30/2008, -0/+15That boat is never gonna get under that bridge.
- recruz, on 11/30/2008, -2/+15this is gonna be dangerous ... I will have even less trust in video after this
- inactive, on 12/01/2008, -0/+10Microsoft does it way better: http://www.boreme.com/boreme/funny-2008/microsoft- ...
- xdevit, on 12/01/2008, -0/+9deja vu... Wasn't there some software made by an MIT student or some youtube dev that did something like this ?
It made paths for the videos and stuff.. If i can find it ill post back.
Found it.. DimP - http://www.techcrunch.com/2008/05/22/dimp-a-direct ... - stuffradio, on 12/01/2008, -0/+8The pixels are not where they were before! Oh wait...
- dragonlink2, on 12/01/2008, -0/+6wow thanks spam account that should be banned.
- Xavious85, on 12/01/2008, -0/+5They need to fix AVCHD support in CS4 first...
- boozedrinker, on 12/01/2008, -0/+4WTF...those demos were done on, like, OS X 10.2 or 10.3 or some *****....
- mufffin, on 12/01/2008, -0/+4I missed the part where you explain what you can do with vegas.
- mattwalton56, on 11/30/2008, -2/+6What's up with all the spam on Digg today?
- bwa236, on 11/30/2008, -2/+6When I see it in a final product, then I'll get excited.
- DelMonte, on 12/01/2008, -0/+4Yeah I've noticed that too, in the first demo they've shown you could see the old pinstripe pattern in the window's title-bar and a blue blob widget on the right side. The other demo they've shown seemed to be running on Leopard though, with the blue widget replaced by the now standard pill shaped widget.
- Joghobs, on 12/01/2008, -0/+4Pretty soon we're going to be saying
"That video looks 'shopped" - inactive, on 12/01/2008, -0/+3You'll be waiting a long ***** time. Adobe can't even field a working updater or clean up the atrocious mess that is the Creative Suite.
- Xavious85, on 12/01/2008, -0/+3The Mainconcept CS3 plug-in worked great. I upgrade to CS4 for native AVCHD support and it blows! I can't wait for Mainconcept to release a plug-in for CS4
Reply - truguyanese, on 11/30/2008, -1/+4Looks interesting; would be a welcome improvement to After Effects' motion tracking system
- highPhone, on 12/01/2008, -0/+3i noticed that too.
cheers - theotheragentm, on 12/01/2008, -0/+3They'll just take a capture from another angle where it looks smaller and then it will fit.
- chrisduser, on 12/01/2008, -0/+2By way of brain-computer interface, the future is cyborgs. Such things as video, audio, and image manipulation will be first nature, exporting it to share with others will be the job of each persons software.
- inactive, on 12/01/2008, -1/+3The Pro Apps are made by Apple, not Adobe.
- commenter01, on 11/30/2008, -2/+4That is scary and amazing at the same.
- minorgods, on 12/01/2008, -0/+2YES. thanks for saving me searching. I remember playing with the player a long time ago
- JohnKappa, on 11/30/2008, -0/+2Which part can you do with Vegas?
- EverTheCynic, on 11/30/2008, -1/+3I suppose I can just unsubscribe from my Engadget feed as long as I'm subscribed to Digg as well.
- inactive, on 11/30/2008, -0/+2Pretty much all of it.
- Denominator88, on 12/01/2008, -0/+2Something like this was Dugg about a couple months ago, it probably wasn't Adobe though. Anyone remember? Really cool technology though.
- inactive, on 11/30/2008, -2/+4I'm already able to do this with Sony Vegas, but it's really time consuming and not extremely user-friendly like this. Call me lazy, but I just like things quick and simple. I can't wait to see Adobe make video editing effects simpler and less time consuming for me.
- inactive, on 12/01/2008, -2/+4"they are working hard at making premiere's advanced video editing much easier and faster to use"
And now we've heard from the entire Adobe sales team.
BURIED AS SPAM. - agbullet, on 12/01/2008, -0/+2Wow. what absolutely amazing, forward-thinking ideas. Sign me up for your newsletter! I think we should extend the concept to 3D-space. Imagine interactive holograms based on nothing more than voxels and vectors!
Let's ignore impracticality. Your vision is the future. - imautobot, on 12/01/2008, -0/+2Very cool!
- scarz99, on 11/30/2008, -1/+3This is really cool how it picks up the movement and knows what is a static object and what isn't.
- DeFex, on 11/30/2008, -5/+7The daily mail is licking their chops.
now they can make up videos to go with their made up news. - ACiDGRiM, on 12/01/2008, -0/+2I like how he makes his guy friend look like he's not paying attention to his girl friends.
- mufffin, on 12/01/2008, -0/+2What about it? You just need a pretty high end computer for it to work.
- cumiciki, on 12/01/2008, -0/+1w/?
- skellener, on 12/01/2008, -1/+2>....with next to no rendering lag....
How about bringing that to the pro-apps there Adobe? - inactive, on 11/30/2008, -12/+13thanks for sharing this information
- stuffradio, on 12/01/2008, -1/+2CS5 here we come!
- esquire360, on 11/30/2008, -1/+2that is so great,,, welcome to the next level! There will be awesome Propaganda video thanks to this...
- chispitas, on 12/01/2008, -0/+1Interesting applications for training and instructional design.
- inactive, on 12/01/2008, -1/+2Wasn't this same damned thing posted like... yesterday?
- inactive, on 11/30/2008, -1/+2When will they build the feature of adding a chrome dinosaur chasing me and my friends?
- muzfuz, on 11/30/2008, -2/+2This is definitely something aimed at the consumer market. Most professionals would find little use for any of this stuff (except for maybe the video scrubbing where you can drag objects to advance frames-- that's kind of cool, although redundant). The problem with things like this is that they just never deliver the results that you get from pro film and video manipulation hardware and software.
But still a cool toy nontheless... it'll be great for people who produce videocasts and youtube videos etc. - Masna, on 11/30/2008, -3/+3The future is near...
