Adobe CS3 Icons: A Cheat Sheet for the Program Abbreviations Used

We know "Ps" stands for Photoshop, but what do the other two-letter icons mean? For those totally confused and disoriented by the shorthand used in Adobe CS3, here's a cheat sheet for Adobe's very own "periodic table."

    Adobe, stop this train right now. Ignore the designers, ignore the marketers. Do not fix what is not broken.

    Why the hell is Illustrator Ai, yet Photoshop is Ps? Shouldn't Illustrator be Il?

    Yeah, I understand Gold is Au and not Gd or something, but we are talking designers, not scientists here...
