- solid12345, on 05/10/2009, -0/+1Yep, don't get me wrong I know what it is like to start out with a slim portfolio, need experience to get experience, a vicious cycle, but I found the best thing to do is make something extraordinary out of ordinary projects, if you get a comission to do a boring brochure for a local nursing home don't just throw it together, do something creative with it, come up with some good copy, do something to go above and beyond even if it doesn't pay well.
