- inactive, on 06/16/2008, -6/+44For those of you who didn't saw the collection before this one - http://reencoded.com/2008/05/20/42-awesome-busines ...
- hektur, on 06/16/2008, -1/+37Oh thanks, I had never saw the collection before that one.
- slvrbullet87, on 06/16/2008, -1/+29The hair pin card is pretty brilliant
- chocobomog, on 06/16/2008, -3/+25Would you really want to use "Smith's Double Entendre Design Studio" when their business card is a direct copy of another company's product (Doublemint gum)? I would be afraid their design for me would end up being a multi-colored apple or a giant golden M with broad arches. And considering many "double entendre"s are risque in nature, they would add subtle phallic shapes to the logos too.
Look, they even designed the "TedEx" business card for Ted's Excellent Music! - inactive, on 06/16/2008, -3/+22Not as genuine as the first batch, unfortunately.
- leonwehttam, on 06/16/2008, -1/+18David Van Patten: [re: business card] Nice color.
Patrick Bateman: That's 'Bone'. - GalacticRerun, on 06/16/2008, -1/+17Some of them are so brilliant they won't fit into your wallet and are practically bordering on promotional items. A business card on chocolate is memorable but I wouldn't wanna hand it to anyone because my number won't be with them for long.
- tikistyle, on 06/16/2008, -0/+13How about business cards for normal people? Most companies can't afford these insane custom shapes and materials, let along find a place that will produce them.
- hektur, on 06/16/2008, -3/+15Dugg because 42 gives me a nerdgasm.
- celer1ty, on 06/16/2008, -1/+13Providing Bouncy Bouncy Sex to Queens
- inactive, on 06/16/2008, -1/+7don't buy his bogus music album either
- b04155, on 06/16/2008, -0/+6Now that it's on Digg, I foresee a cease and desist and/or lawsuit.
- elveis, on 06/16/2008, -0/+6I wish there was some descriptive text or at least a company name on some of these to provide some sort of context to a few of the designs. Lots of creativity there but I also believe some of the ones like the chocolate were probably mailed out as promotional items or thank yous, and not used as actual business cards.
- JohnnyRad, on 06/16/2008, -0/+6Logos that are plays off of other logos (TedEx) are not creative! The worst is the design firm that used the gum packaging as theirs; I'd expect more from a design firm.
- Iknockstuffdown, on 06/16/2008, -0/+6that explains why it's a ***** idea.
- xtinamo, on 06/16/2008, -0/+5What the *****.. Titus Pullo has business cards?
- cyrix, on 06/16/2008, -1/+6Patrick Bateman is going to KILL this guy.
- HonoredMule, on 06/16/2008, -0/+5I guess I was sawing logs instead during that submission.
- vardhaman2249, on 06/16/2008, -0/+4exactly my thoughts.
- Jathan, on 06/16/2008, -0/+4Yeah Ted, it's your Lawyer, are you expecting a package, cause I've got FedEx on the phone here....
- Wuss, on 06/16/2008, -0/+4Anyone who's ever tried to make cool business cards like those knows what I'm talking about when I say "brilliant" and "business cards" is exactly proportional to how deep your wallet is.
I got a quote for double sided business card, normal stock, die cut with 2 rounded corners. Very tame. 2 bucks A PIECE.
If you're comfortable handing out 5 dollar bills, by all means, make a business card that doubles as lock picking set. - DaviDTC, on 06/16/2008, -1/+5I see the collection before that one, but thanks again.
- designdraft, on 06/22/2008, -0/+4Is it just me or do these not show up?
- Oranjy, on 06/16/2008, -0/+4#1 is legendary.
- say592, on 06/17/2008, -0/+2Dugg because of hand manikins.
- inactive, on 06/16/2008, -1/+3I think we are all forgetting that the point of business cards is to put them in your wallet so that you can pull them out and call the people when needed. While I agree these are unique designs, they aren't practical.
- netant, on 06/16/2008, -0/+2He's allowed to do anything legal for an ex-felon now that he's completed his probation period (which I think happened a few years ago).
- bitterbug, on 06/16/2008, -0/+2Once you find out you're good at something besides impaling people, might as well capitalize on it.
- binorgog, on 08/07/2008, -2/+4Countdown to someone pulling Woz's card out of their ass.
- txgentleman, on 06/16/2008, -0/+2I would agree that many of these are promotional items, not really business cards
- NeoCortex, on 06/16/2008, -0/+2Some interesting ones there, to be sure. But when it comes down to it, I want a business card that will fit in my wallet.
- irfanmp, on 06/16/2008, -0/+2Why?
- crazycraka, on 06/17/2008, -0/+2"Check these out I just picked them up from the printers."
"Wow look at that."
"Thats bone. And the lettering is what they call, scilian braille." - waluum, on 06/16/2008, -1/+3A clothes-pin isn't a business card.
- GalacticRerun, on 06/16/2008, -0/+2Yes. Yes you are.
- masterm1nd, on 06/16/2008, -0/+2I'm surprised these weren't dupes, but most of them were closer to advertisements/marketing than business cards.
- Tylerbinski, on 06/16/2008, -0/+2joint crutches? -- we call those "filters" up here...
- robrandtoul, on 06/16/2008, -1/+2These are cool http://www.plasmaplasticcards.com
- laconica007, on 06/16/2008, -0/+1I love the Tokyo card with the words etched onto the white background.
- hoodmonkey, on 06/17/2008, -0/+1Neither was your comment.
- WhiskeyLemur, on 06/30/2009, -0/+1I wasn't thinking "wallet" so much as those standardized plastic slip-covers which companies use to store their clients'/partners'/contacts' cards. I would _really_ be less than amused if the chocolate card melted all over my contact list -- or if I caught one of the many dieters in our office breaking into my desk to eat my business card stash.
- TheCollective00, on 06/17/2008, -0/+1Egg Shell, with Romalian Type
- inactive, on 06/17/2008, -0/+1Some douchebag at an Oil and Gas show was giving out condoms that had the company name on it. I looked up at the guy like "what the hell," and he said "it's to... you know... stop spills"
it was some container-lining company. what a strange promotional idea - zonovo, on 06/16/2008, -0/+1very impressive!
- snapcase, on 06/17/2008, -0/+1I thought the dept. of energy one was interesting... not very practical though.
- cheesebandit, on 06/16/2008, -0/+1Yea. that's the only one that really got me thinking "cute idea"
- Mobiletek, on 06/17/2008, -0/+1Awesome......gets me to thinkin...
