- InsideLine, on 10/10/2007, -81/+14Maybe they should try to illustrate the American national debt; it would take a few miles of pavement to do that, but it would be worth the effort.
- Ehrgeiz, on 10/10/2007, -22/+36Wouldn't be digg without a pointless zing towards the president/government. ***** libtards.
- culbeda, on 10/10/2007, -8/+20Oh, come on. Sure it as an off-topic, political jab, but "libtard"? Please!
- simplynix, on 10/10/2007, -2/+15Besides, his jab was no liberal criticism. Complaints about national debt and big government in general are supposed to be conservative, remember?
No, I don't guess you do.- hierophantus, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6Exactly. That particular bit of irony says a lot about the current state of Republican partisanship.
- reyvehn, on 10/10/2007, -5/+1You idiots, he was referring to how InsideLine made an obvious, indirect statement about the president, who is a republican. It doesn't take a digg user to figure that out. ***** libtards, lol.
- ayeroxor, on 10/10/2007, -3/+1Wouldn't be Digg without a 22-percenter whining about how the vast majority of the world hates them and their King.
- Ehrgeiz, on 10/10/2007, -22/+36Wouldn't be digg without a pointless zing towards the president/government. ***** libtards.
- halil0310, on 10/10/2007, -26/+8Amazing post while I look on it i feel better.
- Callsorputs, on 10/10/2007, -3/+189And I struggle making the frickin hopscotch squares for my daughter
- SLYK, on 10/10/2007, -7/+3"daaaaaaaaad! it's crook-it!"
yep.
- SLYK, on 10/10/2007, -7/+3"daaaaaaaaad! it's crook-it!"
- suxmonkey, on 10/10/2007, -3/+23Forgot to mention: check out the five amazing videos to see how Wenner and Beever pull it off. Friggin awesome.
- colto, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10Why do they call you suxmonkey?
/genuine curiosity- JudgeMonkey, on 10/10/2007, -0/+12Look, we were young and curious. Don't ask.
- colto, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10Why do they call you suxmonkey?
- controltheweb, on 10/10/2007, -24/+5I for one welcome our new chalk sidewalk overlords.
In soviet Russia, sidewalk chalk you!
/slams door, swears never to spend so much time surfing digg again- oneoverzero, on 10/10/2007, -2/+10FAIL
- Matrixsta, on 10/10/2007, -16/+6pretty sure I've seen all these pics on digg before
- Slackdragon, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7Yes! But, have you seen them in THIS particular order, on THIS particular blog?! I think NOT!
- culbeda, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2Do not mock the great unwashed who haven't already seen these pictures about 30 times over.
It's not their fault that they have just recently discovered DIgg and have never heard of Stumble, Reddit, Delicious, ad infinitum.
- MikeonTV, on 10/10/2007, -17/+9This is grade 1 digging guys. Let see the NSFW 3D chalk art.
- KevenM, on 10/10/2007, -3/+11I tip my hat to these guys.
- Bukowsky, on 10/10/2007, -8/+3wow. that's pretty badass!
- razrielle, on 10/10/2007, -8/+17Also, the only 3 street artists
- DJS2005, on 10/10/2007, -7/+2Now that is talent .
- kilraaj, on 10/10/2007, -5/+14Love the picture with the little girl and the frog. It makes it look like she's reaching out to it.
These guys are incredible. - MrSunshine, on 10/10/2007, -9/+22Not again...
- MightyGiant, on 10/10/2007, -5/+60It's amazing how many people have not seen these pictures yet. And how many times they can be posted to social news websites and forwarded through email.
- suxmonkey, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5It's amazing to me how many times they have been posted without attribution to their creators and that people still voted for them. At least this article credits and describes those who put effor into this work.
- Skanadian, on 10/10/2007, -12/+2I remember when this was on Ebaums. Buried.
- justinjstark, on 10/10/2007, -9/+50How old is this? How many times has this been posted on digg? How many times has my mom sent it to me as a chainmail?
Buried...- phanfromcheese, on 10/10/2007, -4/+19That reminds me, tell your mom to quit calling me.
- h4ppydotcom, on 10/10/2007, -2/+13To you, and everyone who has seen this story before, JUST IGNORE IT! Don't click through, don't digg it.
Thousands of people join Digg every day, and perhaps they, like me (who reads digg more or less every day) haven't seen this before. They find it interesting and they are digging the story up. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if the number of comments an article receives in some way influences what appears on the front page and how long it stays there - so your comments are just going to increase the amount of time these 'old news' stories are visible - surely not your aim!
So, I say again - if you've seen this (or ANY) story before, just ignore it. If you haven't, enjoy! - smhill, on 10/10/2007, -5/+4Digg is becoming a email spam/blog repository. This has been floating around email for several years. Every few months some blogs and it makes to the front page of digg. This is getting silly.

To all those digging this: Welcome to the internet!
Buried.- grieks, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2It's also becoming a repository for comments from people who get annoyed that they've seen an article more than once. This is getting silly.

- gamalkik, on 10/10/2007, -7/+12wow, this is making the front page every 6months... old news
- skankyBacon, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1Thanks for letting us know.
- DuxBelorum, on 10/10/2007, -4/+3Ive seen all but the first one, still amazing work.
- m4rk0551, on 10/10/2007, -4/+3What happens when it rains?
- TCKC2C, on 10/10/2007, -2/+12Then you can stand under my umbrella ella ella.
- h4ppydotcom, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2They get washed down the Riverstreet River...
- nepawoods, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1The thing is, in real life, these things look flat and ... just wrong. They have to be viewed from just the right spot (where the camera was in each of these pictures), and then with one eye closed, otherwise it doesn't work. These are drawn to be photographed, not to be looked at by passers by.
- slicedoranges, on 10/10/2007, -5/+10I guess this article has to be posted every month or so.
- hendrixlives64, on 10/10/2007, -2/+8why is graffiti even mentioned? it's not illegal to mark up public property with chalk because it just washes away. graffiti is another type of beauty entirely.
- arist0tl3, on 10/10/2007, -6/+4Digg needs to add a feature that tells you the last time a pic from the story was on the front page. Save some hassle/time.
- snurfle, on 10/10/2007, -6/+11This guy is very talented, but God DAMMIT i'm tired of seeing him here!
- singletrack861, on 10/10/2007, -8/+4This story is posted on digg at least every other week.
Dugg as spam. - imakecoasters, on 10/10/2007, -6/+1er, um.... *sigh*
- shadowblade989, on 10/10/2007, -3/+2I saw Julian Beever in London
- TexanPsycho, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Go you!!
/sarcasm - vofuse, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3I'm guessing that's the only beaver you saw in London.
- shadowblade989, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1If you're saying I spelled it wrong, he wrote his own name next to his work, and that's how it was spelled. I think he would have a pretty good idea.
- TexanPsycho, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Go you!!
- darny, on 10/10/2007, -10/+6buried as how many freakin times is this going to be posted.
- crazycatter, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3Meh. I've seen it once or twice before, but still love it every time I do. Pretty freakin awesome, even if it is a dupe.
- jenoa, on 10/10/2007, -4/+3Seen these before but they never cease to amaze me.
- haggie, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7chalk artists = modern day mimes!
- suxmonkey, on 10/10/2007, -2/+11Ugh ... it's so sad to see the commenters who are saying 'I've seen it before.' I've seen some of these floating around the internet too, but you know what? Usually they are just images, no credit to the creator, no description of the artist, no videos showing the processes of the work. This time there is credit given where credit is do, and links to those who made the pieces.
- ChayD, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Kudos +1
- chepnut, on 10/10/2007, -6/+2This will the the last time I will ever click on a tag that says amazing 3D street art, Its always the same thing over and over and over again. I understand the the Internet is a very big place with lots and lots of stuffs for people to constantly rediscover. While it may be new to you, its at least 5 years old to me. So no digg for you! but enjoy your "discovery"
- MerryMortician, on 10/10/2007, -8/+27RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:AMAZING STREET ARTISTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!lLOLOMG!!!!!BEST PICS EVER!!!!!
- marcgil, on 10/10/2007, -4/+1i think i've gone cross-eyed from looking at this pics. It's not good to stare.. it's not good to stare.. it's not good to stare.. it's not...
- j4ckdotcom, on 10/10/2007, -6/+2omfg this is so old. Buried. I'm not a huge Digger, but I have seen these pics 50 times.
- RdHrd138, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Simply incredible... I envy their talent.
- djonk, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2Kind of old pics but still so freaking cool it's unbelievable. Wish those 16 year old kids who make graffiti where I live had the same talent.
- optoomistic, on 10/10/2007, -4/+2please note this is 2-d nor 3-d
- yfguitarist, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Not*
- medicineman24, on 10/10/2007, -4/+3You do realize that those only look 3D from a certain angle
- rwtf91, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1perspective is a powerful and an amazing illusion.
- on9star, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Maybe someone should do a rain dance...
- xerigen, on 10/10/2007, -6/+2Has there been anyone complaining about how many times this has been dugg yet? I don't see any complaints yet, I guess I have to do it.
Ok then.. I swear this is on the front page every month.- yfguitarist, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Sarcasm? Seeing as how you're about the 10th person to say that.
- jerbaker, on 10/10/2007, -5/+5"Do you normally think of graffiti as subversive art spray-painted illegally on the walls of a city?"
No. I think of graffiti as a sign of filth and vermin. Taggers should be burned alive and their corpses hung from street lights.- hierophantus, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Move to Singapore. They have similarly enlightened notions of punishment for minor annoyances there.
- StickWST, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Then you need to check your priorities.
- jerbaker, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Try living in a city where you can't even turn around without seeing an entire wall covered with three-foot mispelled words like "dopy". Try living somewhere where you go fishing in the mountains and the rocks and trees are all spray painted with the aforementioned. Tagging is THE #1 BLIGHT in the Los Angeles area and I don't believe the death penalty is excessive.
- ChayD, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1I think I may have seen similar before, but I'm not going to waste comment space by whining and not really leaving any positive feedback. I still say "OMFG!!" out loud every time I see these. Absolutely awesome! I'd love to have that sort of artistic talent. FYI These are a type of "Trompe l'oeil" google that to see more permanent ones done with paint.
- GatoPeligroso, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0Mirror?
- wutitang, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Wenner is the man!
- bays, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1they should call it sidewalk art or footpath art. street art i think banksy, blu, etc
- marcomc2, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1these pieces of art are truly amazing. how ***** insane are these...i would pay these guys so much to do this on my property.
- StickWST, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2http://www.graffiti.org/odeith/
I like this better, not saying it is better, but the style is cooler. - kidrocky7, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0they should have the one from Gears of War in here. was included on the extra dvd. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FEDokwcw8DQ
- antdude, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1http://users.skynet.be/J.Beever/pave.htm for a whole collection.
