- MightyGiant, on 10/10/2007, -5/+61It's amazing how many people have not seen these pictures yet. And how many times they can be posted to social news websites and forwarded through email.
- justinjstark, on 10/10/2007, -9/+51How old is this? How many times has this been posted on digg? How many times has my mom sent it to me as a chainmail?
Buried... - MerryMortician, on 10/10/2007, -8/+29RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:AMAZING STREET ARTISTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!lLOLOMG!!!!!BEST PICS EVER!!!!!
- suxmonkey, on 10/10/2007, -3/+24Forgot to mention: check out the five amazing videos to see how Wenner and Beever pull it off. Friggin awesome.
- phanfromcheese, on 10/10/2007, -4/+19That reminds me, tell your mom to quit calling me.
- MrSunshine, on 10/10/2007, -9/+23Not again...
- Ehrgeiz, on 10/10/2007, -22/+36Wouldn't be digg without a pointless zing towards the president/government. ***** libtards.
- simplynix, on 10/10/2007, -2/+15Besides, his jab was no liberal criticism. Complaints about national debt and big government in general are supposed to be conservative, remember?
No, I don't guess you do. - culbeda, on 10/10/2007, -8/+20Oh, come on. Sure it as an off-topic, political jab, but "libtard"? Please!
- JudgeMonkey, on 10/10/2007, -0/+12Look, we were young and curious. Don't ask.
- suxmonkey, on 10/10/2007, -2/+13Ugh ... it's so sad to see the commenters who are saying 'I've seen it before.' I've seen some of these floating around the internet too, but you know what? Usually they are just images, no credit to the creator, no description of the artist, no videos showing the processes of the work. This time there is credit given where credit is do, and links to those who made the pieces.
- TCKC2C, on 10/10/2007, -2/+13Then you can stand under my umbrella ella ella.
- h4ppydotcom, on 10/10/2007, -2/+13To you, and everyone who has seen this story before, JUST IGNORE IT! Don't click through, don't digg it.
Thousands of people join Digg every day, and perhaps they, like me (who reads digg more or less every day) haven't seen this before. They find it interesting and they are digging the story up. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if the number of comments an article receives in some way influences what appears on the front page and how long it stays there - so your comments are just going to increase the amount of time these 'old news' stories are visible - surely not your aim!
So, I say again - if you've seen this (or ANY) story before, just ignore it. If you haven't, enjoy! - kilraaj, on 10/10/2007, -5/+15Love the picture with the little girl and the frog. It makes it look like she's reaching out to it.
These guys are incredible. - razrielle, on 10/10/2007, -8/+18Also, the only 3 street artists
- colto, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10Why do they call you suxmonkey?
/genuine curiosity - KevenM, on 10/10/2007, -3/+12I tip my hat to these guys.
- haggie, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8chalk artists = modern day mimes!
- oneoverzero, on 10/10/2007, -2/+10FAIL
- hendrixlives64, on 10/10/2007, -2/+9why is graffiti even mentioned? it's not illegal to mark up public property with chalk because it just washes away. graffiti is another type of beauty entirely.
- snurfle, on 10/10/2007, -6/+12This guy is very talented, but God DAMMIT i'm tired of seeing him here!
- Slackdragon, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7Yes! But, have you seen them in THIS particular order, on THIS particular blog?! I think NOT!
- slicedoranges, on 10/10/2007, -5/+11I guess this article has to be posted every month or so.
- gamalkik, on 10/10/2007, -7/+13wow, this is making the front page every 6months... old news
- hierophantus, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6Exactly. That particular bit of irony says a lot about the current state of Republican partisanship.
- suxmonkey, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5It's amazing to me how many times they have been posted without attribution to their creators and that people still voted for them. At least this article credits and describes those who put effor into this work.
- vofuse, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4I'm guessing that's the only beaver you saw in London.
- soulkraka, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3cool article...the rest of the site is even better. Check out "7 underwater wonders of the world"
- rwtf91, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3perspective is a powerful and an amazing illusion.
- yfguitarist, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Sarcasm? Seeing as how you're about the 10th person to say that.
- ChayD, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4Kudos +1
- marcomc2, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3these pieces of art are truly amazing. how ***** insane are these...i would pay these guys so much to do this on my property.
- StickWST, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Then you need to check your priorities.
- nepawoods, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Exactly. You have to view from a certain angle, with one eye closed. Really, these are made to be photographed.
- yfguitarist, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Not*
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Wenner is the man!
- antdude, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3http://users.skynet.be/J.Beever/pave.htm for a whole collection.
- icsbase, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Simply awesome work!
- lowerlogic, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I bet it really sucks when the street artist works on an elaborate picture all day and then a cop happens to walk by and arrest the artist for defacement of public property.
- shadowblade989, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2If you're saying I spelled it wrong, he wrote his own name next to his work, and that's how it was spelled. I think he would have a pretty good idea.
- jerbaker, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Try living in a city where you can't even turn around without seeing an entire wall covered with three-foot mispelled words like "dopy". Try living somewhere where you go fishing in the mountains and the rocks and trees are all spray painted with the aforementioned. Tagging is THE #1 BLIGHT in the Los Angeles area and I don't believe the death penalty is excessive.
- theadvinci, on 05/24/2008, -0/+2I wonder how much time it took.
- hierophantus, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Move to Singapore. They have similarly enlightened notions of punishment for minor annoyances there.
- StickWST, on 10/10/2007, -2/+4http://www.graffiti.org/odeith/
I like this better, not saying it is better, but the style is cooler. - ChayD, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3I think I may have seen similar before, but I'm not going to waste comment space by whining and not really leaving any positive feedback. I still say "OMFG!!" out loud every time I see these. Absolutely awesome! I'd love to have that sort of artistic talent. FYI These are a type of "Trompe l'oeil" google that to see more permanent ones done with paint.
- mitchelwinters, on 08/22/2008, -0/+2this awesome, really great
- on9star, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Maybe someone should do a rain dance...
- jerbaker, on 10/10/2007, -5/+7"Do you normally think of graffiti as subversive art spray-painted illegally on the walls of a city?"
No. I think of graffiti as a sign of filth and vermin. Taggers should be burned alive and their corpses hung from street lights. - knslms, on 09/02/2008, -0/+2That is awesome
