- CptGreencoat, on 05/26/2008, -0/+87The double sided peanut butter jar would completely change the game.
- PabloIV, on 05/26/2008, -4/+53Single page, no iPhone, Dugg Up
- TheNatMan, on 05/26/2008, -1/+41IT'S A TRAP!

- shoveitfatty, on 05/26/2008, -0/+21Concrete floors are a great idea, but the chosen design isnt timeless. When they decide to remodel I'm sure they'll enjoy having to break out the 2 inches of concrete...and then building up the floor when they decide to do carpet, wood or stone...
(I just got done tearing out a stamped concrete floor for a kitchen remodel...I'm a little bitter.) - ikillpeoplexx, on 05/26/2008, -2/+19Am i the only one who thinks most of these are pretty much useless, less efficient ways of doing things we can already do? I'm happy with my keyboard and mouse. And my pocket sized cell phone has a clock on it. Also, i don't need a fish tank in my sink. Dumb. Peanut butter jar was nice though!
- qbify, on 05/26/2008, -5/+21Apple should implement that Shaking feature with the iPhone to share files.
It would be pretty bad-ass sharing pictures with your friends by shaking your phone on top of theirs.
http://gizmodo.com/343527/bello-concept-pmp-transf ... - swanny89, on 05/26/2008, -0/+12Wtf are they thinking with that Slice idea.
"Hey I've got those files for you...somewhere her at the desk. Ah jeez all these damn slices look the same." - antonio97b, on 05/26/2008, -2/+13I'm sure the aquarium fish would love the constant tap of a tooth brush against the side.
- Luigison, on 05/26/2008, -1/+10Dugg for Peanut Butter Jar. The rest are crap.
- inactive, on 05/26/2008, -0/+7It's saying you would pay a service provider to use their computer, but the computer is at their facility, and you control it remotely. Sounds like a horrible idea to me.
- greytfriend, on 05/26/2008, -5/+12The rocking chair is gorgeous. Wild stuff.
- iiviip3, on 05/26/2008, -0/+7Other than the peanut butter jar and General Grievous rocking chair, a lot of them were nice to look at but pretty terrible to implement.
- Myrix, on 05/26/2008, -5/+12"Way Out magnet is an original imitation of the standard exit sign illustrating a run to the fridge for a midnight snack. We, however, are not sure why this sign should actually be placed on the fridge."
The author clearly doesn't realize that this is a new warning label: In case of imminent nuclear explosion, hide inside this refrigerator. - Linake, on 05/27/2008, -0/+6Why would people in China want to use chop sticks to navigate their computer? It's the equivalent of me using a fork to jab at folders to open them, and when I want to right click I'd gouge at it with a spoon. . . That seems much more difficult that a simple mouse or touch screen.
- GalacticRerun, on 05/26/2008, -0/+6Like Apple's concrete chair?
- xero69, on 05/26/2008, -0/+5Those "made in china" computers seem like an ideal method for the Chinese government to give everyone a computer and yet have complete control so they can censor anything they want >:-(
"Thus, subscribing to a plan of the Service Provider will allow the use of these components."
Service provider = subject to government control - Tyr7BE, on 05/26/2008, -0/+5Some of these are sort of neat, but some of them are ridiculous.
Isn't one of them a note pad?
And one of them is a blackboard shaped like a little spiky guy? - philwalsh, on 05/26/2008, -0/+5I'm such a whore for good product design. I'll often find myself buying (what turns out to be pretty *****) wine just because the label or bottle design looked awesome.
- bigsimpsin, on 05/26/2008, -2/+7I want that nokia phone
- bunnyblues, on 05/26/2008, -0/+4Hey, a notepad! But seriously, the Swatch was excellent. Guys, that's a great gift idea for your girls.
- secrity, on 05/26/2008, -0/+4It is just a god damned refrigerator magnet
- secrity, on 05/26/2008, -0/+4I like the shadow clock, although it probably wouldn't actually work.
- garths, on 05/26/2008, -2/+6That one doesn't make sense:
"No CPU, no hard drive, no graphics card"
WTF, so it's an inert piece of silicon? - pedepy, on 05/26/2008, -5/+9Apple fanboys shaking their iphone tips on one another ?......
you didnt mean it like that i'm sure.. - juliajean, on 05/26/2008, -1/+5I saw the double lid peanut butter jar when some little kid invented it and then showed it off on Nickelodeon's Figure it Out! like 10 years ago >_>
- Hoogs, on 05/26/2008, -0/+3I thought it looked ugly.
- hiro, on 05/26/2008, -0/+3The light is too far forward to be used comfortably for reading
- idc5, on 05/26/2008, -1/+4looks like stuff out of popular science!
- secrity, on 05/26/2008, -0/+3These drawings are from designers, not engineers. Most of them probably won't work, and a few are just stupid.
- isaactwito, on 05/26/2008, -0/+3I almost buried you before I clicked the link, I couldn't think of any justification for it being a trap. Well played.
- secrity, on 05/26/2008, -0/+3It is a dinner plate.
- ToadLeg, on 05/26/2008, -0/+2In the future everything will be cell shaded vector graphics.
- frisk415, on 05/26/2008, -1/+3The peanut butter jar is genious
- ClevelandBrown, on 05/26/2008, -0/+2doubled-lided Peanut Butter jar is best invention since sliced bread.
- hiro, on 05/26/2008, -1/+3The peanut butter jar is genius. The best ideas are always the simplest
- postalblowfish7, on 05/27/2008, -0/+2mmmm summer sanders
i'd like to double lid her peanut butter jar... - Narrwald, on 05/26/2008, -0/+2See the plugs on the left and right? Ta da.
- jellyfishes, on 05/26/2008, -0/+2Let me get this straight... you saw this headline on digg, visited this page but did NOT click on the link, and then made a stupid, unfounded comment.
I think you need a new hobby. - ikillpeoplexx, on 05/27/2008, -0/+2Does anyone else find the idea of a "concept rocking chair" to be hilarious and kind of pathetic?
- guv920, on 05/27/2008, -0/+1Wow, that's a bunch of BS stuff, especially the phone where you can take out a pen, then write the number onto the screen. Takes about five times as long as punching in the numbers.
- redballoon, on 05/26/2008, -0/+1Finally, an aquarium sink to go along with my fish tank table and platform boots. Is anything really well-designed if it isn't also made to house fish?
Mmm, classy. - filmbandit, on 05/27/2008, -0/+1agreed -- gave me the heebee-jeebees as well -- a little surprised no mention of this possibility from the writer
- geniusNOTatWORK, on 05/27/2008, -1/+2why the hell didn't I think of the double sided jar idea?! :(
- devila2208, on 05/27/2008, -0/+1I want that chair. Where can you buy it??
Edit: Nevermind, apparently it is just a concept chair. - Virgule, on 05/27/2008, -0/+1"Service provider = subject to government control"
- bj1989, on 05/26/2008, -0/+1I don't know about the Nokia. It looks like it isn't remotely possible with todays technology. We can only just make some experimental bendable displays.
- ryanhayn, on 05/27/2008, -0/+1That's the first thing I thought. Smart enough to design a cool chair, but not enough to figure out the correct light angle.
- BrendanSheehan, on 05/27/2008, -0/+1You better hope you live a long time then.
