http://underground.zork.net/bin/Pooper.pdf - xtmno3, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5There is a guide on the page for a newcomer's instructions on how to interpret the crease patterns.
- jocnnor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Oh, it's simple.

/sarcasm - UnknownCzar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3In these you are folding paper. just very, very carefully.
- cianuro, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2That dancing crane is amazing.
- bakatrinh, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I thought Origami is suppose to be folding paper, not molding it like you're sculpting a statue. I remember the old school origami stuff were all angular and stuff (like the Crane)
Anyways, one thing I remember that was pretty annoying was some guy that wrote an Origami book, except the stuff he have you folding requires that you use a scissor and scotch tape to make his stuff. That's not real Origami - LR2_, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3So how do you make these? Is there a certain way to read crease patterns?
- porkstacker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Wow, I was under the impression that Isao Honda was the last known origami prodigy... (he passed away in 1975)... well this stuff is amazing!!! Isao San would be proud!
- jdhoover, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2If you're like me, and want to have an easier go at it, start with these basic designs. I'm off work this afternoon, and annoying my wife with these designs.
http://www.netguides.org.uk/guides/origami/origamiindex.html - Migdilio, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I went to the same church as Robert Lang when I was a kid. His family and mine were good friends. My dad took me to Robert's house when I was around 10. He had some amazing pieces of origami around the house, like a large, complex paper clock. Robert also worked in the fiber optics industry, although I'm not sure if he still does.
If you actually check the digg history, Robert's website was posted about 6 months ago (maybe more?) and he came onto digg and commented on the story himself (in response to some comments I made). - tdskate, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1i want to know how to make the original origami, the one michael scofield makes ..
- aznboi04k, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1the crease pattern are meaningless to me. can anyone figure out how to fold any of the figures with just the crease patterns?
- ashwin100, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The rose and owl both stand out as being phenomenal in particular. I wouldn't even know where to start with making one though, but there should be some kind of reward ceremony should you succeed.
- MJ420, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1HAHAHAHA...I got dugg down for that??? That's sick too :)
- Genshiken, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Recently I've gotten into origami. I have to say, those patterns and forms are amazing.
- phenolholic, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1stop annoying the wife or you're gonna have a plumbers truck in your yard who coincidentially finishes fixing that "leaky faucet" as soon as you get home
- dwiest, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0I also don't recall you being allowed to cut the paper in Origami. Most of those finished pieces look like you have to cut slits in the paper.
- DiggsOnlyNeoCon, on 10/12/2007, -10/+4Goddammit... why are there so many spiders... I can't even look at that page.
- MJ420, on 10/12/2007, -10/+2Goddam, that is sick..DUGG
