An image with one layer multiplied over it in Photoshop does not an impressive photo manipulation make. You could easily find dozens of much more impressive, and creepier, photo manipulated self portraits somewhere like deviantArt.

"Oops I became a zombie", "I have to turn my head until my darkness goes… ", and "Alcohol Poisoning " are all fairly poor as far as photoshop goes. Especially that last one. I most likely took him 5 minutes to do that. - Yetisquatch, on 01/08/2009, -0/+7the human face is 3 dimensional. if you are to try this PS technique, keep that in mind. the majority of these fail because they didnt realize that. throwing a 2-D brush on a perceived 3-D surface does not work.

Also, there are way too many people on Flickr (and otherwise) that depend completely on textures and cheap tricks to make their photography interesting. That, and having boobs and being attractive.
