- writr, on 12/24/2008, -0/+18A few years ago footers were always overlooked because no one seemed to scroll that far down on a webpage, but I think people have realized it’s so much wasted space and should be utilized. 43 folders is probably my favorite. It ties the whole design together and offer more links and content.
- devila2208, on 12/25/2008, -2/+16I don't really like these. I prefer a clean, uncluttered footer with a lot of white space, maybe some basic graphical shapes, but no images. These are too busy IMO.
- nikki2300dk, on 12/25/2008, -1/+15A few are good, but most are too big and cluttered for my taste.
- WiretapStudios, on 12/25/2008, -0/+10The prblogger.com site has its letters too close at the bottom, if you are more than 3cm away from the screen it says '***** FEED.'
- thekeggerman, on 12/25/2008, -0/+8This should read: 25 Webpage footers that are Bloated and Full of Features you'll never use!!
- eliburford, on 12/24/2008, -1/+8Some extras: http://box.mepholio.com/collections/8/recent
- waxdart, on 12/25/2008, -0/+6Way, way too ornate. 25 examples of "designers" disguising compositional insecurity with lots of layers.
- annjay, on 12/24/2008, -2/+7Beautiful Collection of footer designs as this is also an important part of web design.
- jaygeeze, on 12/25/2008, -1/+5Very creative designs. Wish I got the same talent as these designers, I'd be making a ton of money right now.
- Soofi, on 12/25/2008, -0/+4"FLlCKER FEED"
Did you see it that way..? My mind must be polluted :/ - inactive, on 12/25/2008, -1/+4The only two haven't been done to death were the penguins eating fish (i think that's what was going on) and the carboard one. The notebook paper, sticky note, clear tape "grunge" went in and out of fashion two years ago. We need more comic sans.
- TheCoreh, on 12/25/2008, -0/+3deviantART's footer is my personal favorite.
- hbyrne, on 12/24/2008, -4/+7This is actually quite useful. Thanks for sharing!

- chesterjosiah, on 12/26/2008, -0/+2That's what I thought it said too. For those of you too lazy to go see what it really says, it's "FLICKER FEED".
- inactive, on 12/25/2008, -1/+3amazing these are cool
- inactive, on 12/25/2008, -1/+3amazing

- ValDeV, on 12/25/2008, -2/+3Absolutely awesome!

There is 1 "screen" worth of content and about 4 screens worth of sidebars and footer...a bit excessive IMHO. - netfool, on 12/25/2008, -1/+2I noticed yesterday that http://www.PSDtuts.com has a nice one to.
- Rapter09, on 12/26/2008, -0/+1It was sort of a self-fulfilling prophecy, almost. I remember years ago when I still did this stuff designers and site admins spent so much time farting and fussing around with the content in the first half of the visible page; Jostling and fighting for eye-time that was deemed very precious and scarce.
A lot of websites eventually got the "gutted fish" feeling, where you'd have mounds of content absolutely packed into the first visible section of the website, and then as content began to expand downwards from that you'd have this 500px table in the middle stuffed with text and all this empty white space on either side, and nothing down at the bottom other than "Contact Us | Legal | Site Map | About" or something like that.
Nice to see the trends change, sort of. - ahbab, on 01/18/2009, -0/+0thank you

http://www.ahba2b.com/news - nmanguy, on 12/25/2008, -4/+4I never really pay attention to footers anyway.
- KimNovak, on 12/25/2008, -1/+1Is anyone else disturbed by the fact that people try to make their pages look more realistic and use this stupid designs with crappy colors and stuff like burnt paper to give a feel of I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT!1! It's not professional (I do understand that some people make website for fun.. but if you're going to promote your website and want people to visit it at least make it esthetic and functional) and really makes the website slow and IMHO UGLY!
- redhotkurt, on 12/25/2008, -3/+3Generic spam comment about how cool this is!
- OGKHAX, on 12/25/2008, -2/+2Screenshots of other websites, SWEET!

- tomprocter, on 01/04/2009, -0/+0Took me ages to settle on the footer for our company website, there's some nice inspiration here, but it's too easy to follow trends on design. As someone else said here, a lot of these designs have been over done... like the paper look. I do think it's important for some care and attention to be put into the footer though, it can serve as a useful tool for quick navigation and importantly, SEO.
- amous, on 12/25/2008, -4/+3interesting..
- acca, on 12/25/2008, -4/+3Very nice footers. Although, there is a big percent of visitors don't even see a footer, but it's very nice to have good looking one on site.
- crosenblum, on 12/25/2008, -4/+2Really cool...
- inactive, on 12/25/2008, -5/+3Very nice and tasty !
- MamtaNarang, on 12/25/2008, -4/+1Cool
- doublefelix, on 12/24/2008, -12/+7Don't forget the 'Digg This' button.
- DecllipteR, on 12/24/2008, -10/+3cool...
