- superguysteve, on 12/03/2007, -0/+6I'm impressed someone used the word 'reflux' without mentioning acid.
- colto, on 12/03/2007, -0/+4You know what it looks like? Collision of an second water drop against the reflux of the first!

too bad about the watermark - evilregis, on 12/03/2007, -2/+6I'm guessing it was that guy's. But I could be wrong.

http://www.foxsaver.com/public/picture/955926035 - tacojohn, on 12/03/2007, -0/+3Funny that this story is on the front page along with "Is photography dead?"...far from it.
- compgeek, on 12/03/2007, -0/+2wow amazing shots

- blynder, on 12/03/2007, -0/+2Some of these look photoshopped, but I'll still Digg it.

http://cre.ations.net/creation/the-time-fountain - the7dwarfs, on 12/03/2007, -0/+2Here is a diggnation wallpaper that fits in quite nicely with the topic: http://www.pbase.com/jeffreyk/image/63836273
- Cink420, on 12/04/2007, -0/+1My friends and I got a picture kinda like the ball of water, only the ball was the blood from my friends nose bleed hitting the lake after he fell on his skimboard =P
- Coffeedemon, on 12/04/2007, -0/+1I'm more interested in the lens. ie: a macro? zoom? focal lengths, etc would be nice.... but of course theres no damn EXIF.
- cozmoz365, on 12/03/2007, -0/+1Anyone knows which camera was used for this?
- ChocoMidget, on 12/03/2007, -1/+2Cozmoz, its not about the camera its about the lights. These are taken in a pitch black room with the shutter on bulb and you simply wait for a computer controlled timer with an infrared sensor to be tripped which fires the lights, and then you close the shutter. The trick is that the lights have to be powered all the way down so that the flash duration is short as possible and only 3 or 4 strobe packs are usuable for this. Profoto As and Broncolors are the ones that I'm famaliar with, you can also use a Canon 580, 550 etc, or the Nikon equivlant, just turn it down to its lowest power. If you like to read charts your aiming for a flash duration of 1/10,000sec to 1/20,000 or lower.
- RedRummy, on 12/03/2007, -0/+1These are nice... I also liked the ones done with coffee instead of water...
- sittered, on 12/03/2007, -0/+1Wow, it's like the submitter heard you before you said it...so it's like that comment was pointless!
- lrdntwnd, on 12/03/2007, -0/+1That guy needs to learn some grammar. It should read, "... a second..." not, "... an second..." That is all.
- electricmba, on 12/03/2007, -0/+1All I saw in the title here was "liquid droplets shot at just the right moment", and my mind went straight into the gutter.
- exomni, on 12/03/2007, -1/+2That one over there.
- inactive, on 12/03/2007, -1/+2Waaaay ahead of you. (peeing)
- kernco, on 12/03/2007, -0/+1"an second drop"?
I hope when they roll out the pics section, they are smart enough to search the archives for "[PICS]" and move them into the new section. - darkchild82, on 12/03/2007, -0/+1just beautiful ! :-)
- erksome, on 12/03/2007, -0/+0Pretty cool. Check out related work of another artist http://www.liquidsculpture.com/index.htm
- inactive, on 12/03/2007, -2/+2If you read the comments for Night Splash II, he says "I use both an Canon G5 and Rebel XT (350D)"
Phillip. - inactive, on 12/03/2007, -0/+0omg, water art :o

- chrislusf, on 12/03/2007, -0/+0The instruction is in the comment part of this page.
- AvaPro, on 12/04/2007, -0/+0I'm not sure a CGI is taken by camera.
- momobelle, on 12/03/2007, -1/+0would someone please put up a mirror?
- inactive, on 12/03/2007, -3/+1Digg
- Sornos, on 12/03/2007, -4/+2Explaining the joke in the parentheses somewhat ruins it. (commenting)
- skamp, on 12/03/2007, -4/+2Could we please drop the "10 totally most awesome things EVER [PICS OMG]" titles already? kthxbai
- nablec, on 12/03/2007, -3/+0Dugg for looking like nukes.
