Somebody will inevitably complain about the cheesy results you get with tutorials like this, but I don't think that's fair. Sure, it's not an appropriate effect to launch a million dollar ad campaign with, but it can be great for a Christmas card and other trivialities. Not everybody has the talent to actually draw, but it's still fun to play around with things like this.

- MasterGrief, on 09/03/2008, -0/+4That was a pretty mediocre. It's not that these guys did a bad job, it's that they're trying to do something that just isn't easily done. I gave up on comic book effects outside of vectoring in photoshop a long time ago.
