and a little like blog spam. - leohart, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5Buried as spam, no content. STOP digging people and start visiting real sites.
- shark615, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Buried for blatent blog spam, how the hell did this make it to the front page.
- amandaw33, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2google for nested css navigation. I was looking for something similar myself yesterday and came across some good tutorials. Only problem is for some reason I can't get them running in IE6 (with .htaccess file, with an IE6 javascript "hack") -- if anyone has any tips I'd love to hear em. Of course my menu works fine in IE7/FF/Safari
- haydesigner, on 10/12/2007, -4/+5So Arkonnan is an idiot, as well as a public racist.
- dognose, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Has anyone seen any good MULTI LEVEL css menus? Most of these are just tabbed or dropdown menus, but can't handle anything more.
- Daniel591992, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1whoops...
- isdereks, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Buried. No real content...
- nasium, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1talk about digg effect. leo, some people don't expect to have 50,000 people to thier site. relaxe mang!
- localstatic, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Here's one by Steve Gibson that looks nice. I've thought about using it, but haven't gotten around to actually messing with it yet.

It's taking up an awful lot of space on frontpage.
Thank you. - SenyWD, on 02/24/2009, -0/+0Download free standards compliant CSS layouts: http://www.free-css-layouts.com

- Hooks, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0I created something similar to the menu that Steve Gibsons site uses. So far i have tested it in IE6, IE7, Opera, FF. There is nothing but test content on the site but the menu works. The menu will work without using any Java or any scrpting its actually pretty cool. Im sure that someone who knew what they were doing could come up with a better solution then what i did.
Its only one level but you get the idea.

I have written a tool that creates unlimited-level CSS dropdown menus that requires NO javascript. It uses a similar technique to the proof of concept on Steve Gibson's site. The menus work in most browsers and are extremely lightweight and fast.
I plan to launch it as a free web based tool, but offer a slightly more robust desktop version (Windows/Mac/Linux) for $10-15. I am currently working on the GUI. Here are some features:
-Currently tested in IE5/IE6/IE7/Mozilla/Firefox/Safari/Opera, but should work in others
-Scalable Menus for accessibility (Images too)
-Image Rollovers (that don't have to be background images)
-Basic Alpha Transparency on submenus
-Unlimited Submenu Levels
-Can hide form elements on IE5+ (using no javascript)
-Custom edges / Drop Shadows
-Ability to customize individual items / icons
-Generates Valid Markup / CSS
-Customize Borders, Padding, Colors, Backgrounds, etc. for menu containers and items.
-Can compress CSS/XHTML output to remove whitespace and comments.
-PHP library to dynamically generate menus (css and xhtml markup) on the fly from XML
-Joomla/Mambo Plugin will be available
I'm hoping to launch it by March. Let me know if you want to be an early beta tester. The Digg community will be the first to know when I launch the new site in a few months.( www.kwikmenu.com ) - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -16/+11It's not a blog spam.
I'm a brazilian blogger and I'm using Babelfish to translate my posts to English Language because I don't write in English very well and I'd like to attract visitors of any place of the world. - Arkonnan, on 10/12/2007, -9/+3I say we "liberate" them next.
