- beerwench, on 11/25/2008, -2/+25ugh... how ***** unnecessary... just get the web developers toolbar for firefox and stfu :)
- jebaird, on 11/25/2008, -0/+10dont forget firebug!
- seantubridy, on 11/25/2008, -0/+8A few are nice and most developers will at least know about the W3C site but they aren't "must have". I've been doing just fine without them for years. But I get it, you probably wouldn't make it to the home page of Digg with out the sensationalist title. A sensationalist title is a must-have.
- deathcat, on 11/25/2008, -1/+5Pay your web hosting bill first!
- internetchaos, on 11/26/2008, -0/+3Dugg for IE, not all web designers are so far up their own ass that they can blissfully ignore the world's most popular browser.
- nourayehia, on 11/25/2008, -0/+3Very useful resource, my favorite one is BrowserShots bookmarklet.
- BadAsh71, on 11/25/2008, -1/+3Is it just me or was this or another VERY SIMILAR list posted just last week?
Nice to haves nonetheless but a lot of this is in Firefox's Web Developer Toolbar. - Zounas, on 11/25/2008, -1/+3And developer tools for Opera.
- theadvinci, on 11/26/2008, -0/+2These tools will help me a lot.
- BadAsh71, on 11/25/2008, -0/+2Ah, this is the one I was thinking about:
http://digg.com/mods/Top_5_Favorite_Bookmarklets - webresources, on 11/25/2008, -0/+2Truth is, the list contains only 3 elements from web developer addon (& this is mentioned in the post).
And the post says "use web developer addon" besides these bookmarklets.
Most of the bookmarklets don't exist in Firebug or web developer addon. That's the total point of the post :) - onlines, on 11/25/2008, -0/+2Is one of them database management?
- mark3103, on 11/25/2008, -2/+4great links - many of them essential tools for any serious web developer
- webresources, on 11/25/2008, -0/+2No, they are bookmarklets: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bookmarklet
- Green0wns, on 11/25/2008, -0/+1lol, apparently not.
- usedupfag, on 11/25/2008, -1/+2Yep, that's why we use these tools, and tools which are better than these.
How on earth does this get to the front page? I'm not being cynical, but any developer knows about these sites and/or similar sites.
I could write about over 400,000 sites with links to various scripts, programs or cheat sheets. - scoot2006, on 11/25/2008, -2/+3The dev toolbar for IE as well.
- bigsheldy, on 11/25/2008, -0/+1I wonder if they show good places to mirror your site
- Swerengen, on 12/01/2008, -0/+1You got it guys and girls -- no need to have a bunch of bookmark(lettes) when a simple plugin will do all that and more.
- webresources, on 11/25/2008, -0/+1:) wish so..
- mindpuzzle, on 11/27/2008, -0/+1good to know
- crossmr, on 11/25/2008, -0/+1So they're bookmarks? stop trying to create clever new pointless buzz words..
- SquareWheel, on 11/26/2008, -1/+1My internet browser is better than your internet browser!
- ClarkWells, on 11/25/2008, -1/+1These are lame and pretty worthless... As mentioned above, just get the web developers toolbar and firebug and forget all of this crap.
- ultrafez, on 11/25/2008, -4/+1Buried for IE.
