- phreenet, on 11/08/2008, -9/+92burying because I thought I was getting a new desktop wallpaper this morning.
- inactive, on 11/08/2008, -1/+61I like my walls like I like my women: white and plain.
That doesn't sound as good as I originally thought it would. - jboitnott, on 11/07/2008, -1/+53The "fool the eye" wallpaper is just spellbinding. I want that for my house!
- JasonCox, on 11/08/2008, -0/+45How are these geeky? Listen, put various UI elements from Windows, Mac and Linux onto a wallpaper and then we'll talk about geeky.
- jggube, on 11/07/2008, -3/+47The post-it notes wallpaper looks great (and doable). I might set one up in the living room and have guests leave comments and such, that sounds like a perfect weekend project!
- Upon66, on 11/08/2008, -0/+36Geeky? Looks more artsy to me..
- t3hmyth, on 11/08/2008, -1/+26Dugg for Post-It notes. That way your kids don't ruin your walls.
- WordsnCollision, on 11/08/2008, -1/+19Some people keep throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks. Others take the result and turn it into wallpaper.
- eq2s, on 11/08/2008, -0/+14With no holes in them?
- marioara, on 11/08/2008, -0/+14I hate my walls now
- Canadaa, on 11/08/2008, -0/+14unless they rip them all off
- TheOneTrueGod, on 11/08/2008, -0/+13Oh, he's gonna nail them allright.
- mojoel, on 11/08/2008, -0/+11Wallpaper is tacky.
- TheKappa, on 11/08/2008, -1/+12I like my walls like I like my women... In my kitchen and bedroom.
- kybosh, on 11/08/2008, -0/+10Almost dry paint is tacky.
- shakin, on 11/08/2008, -0/+10I came here to say just that. Back in my day geeks didn't care what the walls looked like as long as they had a computer, science equipment, or whatever their geeky hobby required. It seems that as "geeky" became trendy, "trendy" became geeky, which I don't think is right.
If you've never been to a Star Trek, Star Wars, X-Files, or other sci-fi convention and haven't seriously considered dressing as one of the characters so you would fit in at the convention, you are probably not a geek. Owning a Mac and pretending that makes you a Unix user doesn't count. - cygnex, on 11/08/2008, -0/+9I am still looking for the wall paper you can lick like Willy Wonka had - "where schnozberries taste like schnozberries"
- zaffir, on 11/08/2008, -0/+9Too bad you can't actually BUY any of it.
- Shootfast, on 11/08/2008, -0/+7Plastered and covered in paste?
- marshallpeck, on 11/08/2008, -1/+8I don't think literacy had anything to do with it
- bobdigi, on 11/08/2008, -2/+9If you are narrowing down your women to ONLY white women, you missing out bro.
- jdconn01, on 11/08/2008, -0/+7Using LED to light up the room is pretty cool, you could flip the light switch and watch as a forest grows and illuminates your room.
- sundevilmike, on 11/08/2008, -0/+7Dug for LED's and Post Its!
- emalen, on 11/08/2008, -0/+6Anyone else notice that the picture shows 6 color layers while the description says it only has 4 layers?
- shenaniJen, on 11/08/2008, -0/+6All wallpaper sucks. Trust me, as a homeowner who bought a house from people who LOVED the stuff, you will be hating yourself when the pattern you chose goes out of style. Nothing sucks worse than taking down wallpaper. And then there are the children who keep peeling the stuff off the wall...
- vcn3wb05, on 11/08/2008, -0/+5The artist is "sadly uncredited but possibly Canadian". Well, I'm sold!
- Acidictadpole, on 11/08/2008, -0/+5You're not that geeky unless you thought this was a desktop wallpaper before going there... I didn't want any of those on my desktop then i realized it meant actual wallpaper :/
- disrupter, on 11/08/2008, -1/+6I prefer turtles
- mikewhite314, on 11/08/2008, -1/+5I thought it meant computer wallpapers that were based on real-life scenes or objects.
- AutoTom, on 11/08/2008, -0/+4This stuff is pretty sweet, just wish i knew where to go to get this kind of stuff..
- Doomsan, on 11/08/2008, -0/+4Any higher res pics?
- tmacfan123, on 11/08/2008, -1/+5dugg for one of the wallpapers looking like the crazy computer in Eagle Eye
- TheOneTrueGod, on 11/08/2008, -0/+4I had a geometric pattern wallpaper (triangles, squares, parallelograms; all connected) as a child. I had a recurring nightmare: I looked at that wallpaper from a very defined distance (1 meter or something). That is the nightmare. Dreams are weird.
- wockawocka123, on 11/08/2008, -0/+4Its about time wallpaper made a comeback. Who doesn't need some slightly misaligned morning glory's that slowly drive you to the brink of insanity.
- Cloud7654, on 11/08/2008, -0/+3AVERAGE
- Yazilliclick, on 11/08/2008, -8/+11Buried because apparently you're illiterate.
- rkiga, on 11/08/2008, -0/+3those weren't really geeky. i was thinking they would be more like this:
http://www.vickylalwani.com/2008/06/24/mario-room- ... - ExSlashdotter, on 11/08/2008, -0/+3Check this place out: http://www.whatisblik.com/walldecals.html
Not really "wallpaper" per se, but they make some cool vinyl graphics for your walls. They even have a set of threadless designs and whatnot.
I put the threadless design 'splatter in d minor' in my office. - Wootstapler, on 11/08/2008, -0/+3Fail Whale Wallpaper!
- jOOlian, on 11/08/2008, -0/+3The first two were the best, dugg for one page.
- KingGorilla, on 11/08/2008, -0/+3they might spill something... like a water balloon
- ProfessorLX, on 11/08/2008, -0/+3buried for 'Real-Life'
- xan18, on 11/09/2008, -0/+2Post it note wall paper is so amazing.
- ethana2, on 11/09/2008, -0/+2MONKEY
- passedoutghost, on 11/09/2008, -0/+2Knowing kids, they'd make a competition of how fast they could rip off all the post it notes.
- t0x2c, on 11/09/2008, -0/+2Nah I have half naked chicks all over my walls.
The dead ones started stinking after 2 days. - coreyb, on 11/08/2008, -0/+2What???
- Barney255, on 11/08/2008, -0/+2i like LOL
- mrdiggdude, on 11/08/2008, -0/+2they are pretty lame, I know of no geek who would want that ***** on their wall/s
- TheKappa, on 11/08/2008, -0/+2OMG Spoilerz!
