- inactive, on 11/05/2008, -1/+36How could someone subscribe to 110 RSS feeds?
In the time it'd take to actually digest the content from all of those the designer could actually do some designing and improve their skills instead of studying the theory. - indyGuy, on 11/05/2008, -1/+23No way in hell I'm subscribing to 110 feeds. Nonetheless, a good (and appreciated) list.
- R27creativelab, on 11/04/2008, -0/+17Cracking list, just wonder when I'm going to work if I'm reading all these : )
- japface, on 11/05/2008, -4/+13this is getting ridiculous. top ten this, top one hundred that. list of crap i must look at, list of this that will give me success. give it a rest guys, this ***** isnt news.
- Chords0fLife, on 11/05/2008, -1/+9I think I'm going to pretend like I never saw that list, becuase it will consume my life.
- Rndm_Tngnt, on 11/05/2008, -0/+8So when will these designers have a chance to design anything if they're reading 110 feeds a day?
- Lollerskater, on 11/05/2008, -1/+8I thought a 110 websites was a bit much. And then the article itself proclaims the number now being 121! No way am I adding 121 feeds to my already extensive list, no matter how interesting the overall topic.
How about in the future condensing these lists? And how about some motivation per site why we should add it to our feed readers? Now it's just a copy/paste list of URLs and site names. Hardly attractive or handy. - X111, on 11/05/2008, -1/+6I want a top 100 list of top 100 lists.
- DarQraven, on 11/05/2008, -0/+4Nice list, but the title is inaccurate.
I'm a designer, and by far most of these are irrelevant to me.
Why, you ask?
Web designers aren't the only kind of designer around. I'm an industrial designer, for example. As such, CSS tricks mean absolutely nothing to me.
Next time, at least include the web/graphic tag. - mesarah, on 11/04/2008, -4/+8Useful collection of websites.
- rkiga, on 11/05/2008, -1/+3^second design observer.
seriously why would anyone want a list of 100+ sites to rss, especially with no descriptions or categories?
i'd rather have a list where people get to vote on site that are good, with tags and everything. we can call it delicious or something like that. or even somebody's opinion of the top 5 sites. maybe i'm just crazy.
dugg down as lame - colorburned, on 11/05/2008, -0/+2Added the OPML file for you guys to use
- fudgegraphics, on 11/04/2008, -3/+5great list.
- GreenDots, on 11/05/2008, -0/+2waste of time.
- Colindean, on 11/05/2008, -1/+3Who the hell has time to read 110 additional feeds per day? I'm subscribed to ~30 feeds and it takes me an hour and a half to read /just/ the interesting, stand-out stories.
- NicoNicoNico, on 11/05/2008, -0/+1Meh, downloading the OPML file. If I find a site in there I won't use, I can always take it off. Then again, I'm still learning web design, so I have the time. ;)
- CreativeGuy, on 11/08/2008, -0/+1Digg isn't a news site poopface, it's an aggregator of article. Don't like it, don't click on it. Simple.
- davzie, on 11/05/2008, -4/+5Seriously, how the hell am I supposed to rift through 110 feeds. I thought it said ten and that was enough for me. Please stop digging this unfathomable crap.
- frogman54, on 11/05/2008, -1/+2I already have 110 kitten related feeds. That's a whole lotta cute for me to handle. I don't think I'll be signing up for another 110 feeds.
- CreativeGuy, on 11/04/2008, -3/+4Excellent list. Here are a few more:
http://www.thegraphicmac.com/rss.xml
http://creativebits.org/node/feed
http://adsoftheworld.com/node/feed - WoollyMittens, on 11/05/2008, -3/+4If I subscribe to 100 RSS feeds my ISP will kick me off for wasting their bandwidth. :(
Seriously, make a top 10 or something. - Dermah, on 11/05/2008, -2/+3The last thing I need right now is more RSS feeds to subscribe to :(
- hotspot, on 11/08/2008, -0/+1well.. thanks for that - would have been better had you shortlisted three from the existing 127 instead of adding three more!
- healthinsurance, on 12/22/2008, -0/+1A good ebay RSS script for sellers listings here - http://ebayrss.blogspot.com
- DulcetTone, on 11/05/2008, -0/+1I've yet to see an RSS feed anyone should subscribe to.
- banhaclong20, on 11/05/2008, -1/+2Great list. Checked all !
- NicoNicoNico, on 11/16/2008, -0/+1It's me again. After using this for 11 days so far, I do have to say some of them have changed my life. (Needless to say, I have no life.) Some of them can be cut out, some posts can be ignored, but the gems you gather from some of these are amazing. Think along the lines of typography that is free that you can use commercially - for free. Not complete character sets, but they can be used for some headlines and the like. Free textures, beautiful inspiration. Leave off a day to download it and cut out what you don't need. ;)
- ZenNemesis, on 11/05/2008, -1/+2Good article thanks!
- yambagel, on 11/12/2008, -0/+1awesome, thank you for sharing :)
- sweetfeld28, on 11/05/2008, -2/+3thanks.
- Narfmaster, on 11/05/2008, -2/+2My current RSS feed reader has about 220. This includes things which only update every few days as well, but it takes a pretty decent amount of time to get through them all.
- ProfessorApe, on 11/05/2008, -0/+0I'm totally there with you. Practically every "design" story/post/list plugged on here is for web design. What about ID or illustration or concept or the 'dead world' of print design?
My guess would be that it's far easier to post some css code chunks and call it a day rather than try and communicate the abstract concepts of design in an attempt-to-draw-traffic list post. - infonine, on 04/01/2009, -0/+0Superb list. Thank you so much for this collection. i already use some of them specially those related with graphics design.

- NavySeal, on 11/05/2008, -1/+1now it's at 127 =P
- adellecharles, on 11/05/2008, -3/+3great list, thank you for adding me to it as well!
- iamkhayyam, on 11/12/2008, -0/+0;) nice.
- ImJustCreative, on 11/05/2008, -3/+3SImply superb. Thankyou so much for adding me to the list. :)
Graham - theadvinci, on 11/04/2008, -3/+3110 is an impressive number... content of the list is also impressive.
- JonathanCutrell, on 11/12/2008, -0/+0Cool list. I use Sage... easy to put this in there, and if I decide I wanna check a few of these, I can. No biggie. Awesome to have the OPML included too.
- andysowards, on 11/04/2008, -5/+4Awesome!
- inactive, on 11/05/2008, -4/+3I'm going to check out all those sites one by one, as there's no info given about any of them.
Oh yeah, that's gonna happen. Buried. - bj7777, on 11/07/2008, -2/+1Los angeles web design http://www.deographics.com/los-angeles-web-design. ...
Great portfolio. - Nelson69, on 11/05/2008, -3/+1Top 10 lists don't work with RSS feeds. Why not just code up "planet design" and aggregate them all there?
- nicksoni, on 11/05/2008, -3/+1Interesting list, but I hardly use a majority of those. As a (graphic) designer I frequent:
www.manystuff.org
www.ffffound.com
www.designobserver.com
I find the content much more edgy and influential as far as the international design community goes.
Just my two cents. - GaffleSnipe, on 11/04/2008, -6/+3Likes it....
- jwstuff, on 11/04/2008, -5/+2nicely done, lots of awesome stuff to be found there. This must be a long time in accumulating these links. Thanks.
- jwhedon, on 11/04/2008, -6/+3Very nice...
- iheartrendering, on 11/04/2008, -6/+3nice list.
